    Haha the quoting thing happens because I use ten browsers and some of them don't do multiquotes properly. I have the following 10 installed right now: 1 Opera 2 Firefox 3 Ice Dragon 4 Bravo 5 Iron 6 Edge 7 GX 8 Avast 9 Inlog 10 Chrome There's a few others but I don't use them regularly.

    Too bad my volume of posts in science/tech, politics and climate change will probably suppress the chances of that. If you haven't seen Ant's posts in politics, you're really missing something, he's lapping the field by a mile (with the possible exception of Naso.)

    True, I'm looking at it as "if it didn't snow anymore after this" but it looks like March could be more promising than we earlier thought.

    The birds love this snow, I see lots of cardinals playing in it outside (and drinking from it.)

    So just barely in the normal range then (20-25 was what the NWS had as the normal range here.)

    Yep and I think this will get us to average seasonal snowfall. The cardinals and other birds love this snow lol, I think they're drinking water from it?

    Looks like the warmth might be transient as we have more chances early-mid March with the PV coming down.

    We might be kissing December as a winter month goodbye, it's the fastest warming month of the year. Snow sticks around much longer in December, so we're going to lose that.

    How much snow in March/April 1957? I think it was 1956 that had snow in late March and April? Looks like NYC has reached 17" on the season around the same time as that year-- what did they finish with in 1956-57?

    Snow is still backbuilding to southwestern Nassau, this should keep going until sometime between 5-6 here.

    damn NYC lagging behind EWR too, are all of these as of 1 PM, Don? And has JFK reached 22" on the season (that's their normal I think?)

    I got some great pics of the snow coming down hard, the only thing it's not accumulating on is pavement, which is an artificial surface and doesn't count anyway! While I was taking pictures of the beautiful postcard scenery a gorgeous scarlet cardinal flew right through the middle of the frame, a lucky capture!

    I'm pleasantly surprised, it's been snowing all day and some of our heaviest snow was in the past hour!
