  1. Oh yes you have some work to do. I need about 5 inches to get to average (using JFK numbers) Based on my own record keeping it's already near average here maybe 2-3 inches short.
  2. Is there a storm coming right after that showing up on the Euro? March 2nd seems to be showing up on some models.
  3. Oh the March 2nd storm is back lol
  4. this looks to be a month where we get some accumulating snow but no big snowstorms. We'll be lucky to get a 6" snowstorm....this looks like a few 1-3 or 2-4 events. I dont think we will get to double digit snowfall in March. Maybe near average snowfall. Does anyone actually like snow changing to rain scenarios? I dont....it might as well be all rain or just be sunny and warm in that case.
  5. why cant the SE Ridge flex and bring us that snowstorm Sunday into Monday? Thats like a bully, it disappears when a storm is about to come and comes back when the storm goes away.
  6. think about what it would've been like on this forum in 1993-94 from December thru March lol 2 storms every week 30 total storms
  7. Maybe more info on that possible snow event coming for early next week in future updates, Don?
  8. more like bring out the wood chipper, young man
  9. Well with a company like Chevron they need to be punished for what they're doing to Donziger and the damages they've caused in the Amazon and failure to pay the lawsuit they lost in Ecuador. Can't believe these companies are allowed to punish people who win class actions against them, but we are talking about crapitalism after all.
  10. lol sorry I thought I only made like two posts
  11. Maybe we need to develop technology to start controlling volcanoes so we dont go extinct one day
  12. youve had double digit snowfall events there with a raging pos nao already this year lol
  13. That just means it will be a progressive storm and favor coastal areas. by the way what is causing it to be so positive?
  14. I am glad you are interested in this, Don!
  15. the 1930s were awesome except for that darned Dust Bowl era lol
  16. Major is 6" or more to you correct? 4" happen infrequently but not a complete fluke up to the first 10 days of April. 6"+ events are very rare after 3/20 though
  17. Honestly if this was a just world all property of all fossil fuel companies would be seized and all their CEOs and board of directors would be clapped in handcuffs and sent to Guantanamo Bay for crimes against humanity and the planet. The International Court at The Hague should do that and send them to an international version of Guantanamo Bay, some deep dark pit from whence they are never heard from again.
  18. The media has also started talking about this storm.
  19. Don looks like that late week storm will be far more rain than snow so how does it look for the Sunday night storm? I've been hearing more about that one lately.
  20. I think we need to move onto the Sunday night storm, they were talking about that on the news tonight too- let us know what it looks like for that one.
  21. yup and a little wrinkle is that the western part of the south shore can sometimes be below freezing while the eastern part is above freezing. I've seen it in several events here where it stays below freezing from Oceanside westward and it's above freezing to the east of there. VD 2007 was one of those events and so was Jan 1994. March 1993 had 10-12 inches of snow from Oceanside westward, while east of there got only 6"
