  1. The warm waters of the Great Lakes clearly kept JFK warmer
  2. 19 this morning. Lots of teens for lows this winter. Happy we are transitioning to spring slowly starting today.
  3. What? An average cannot be calculated without looking at the past. This post makes no sense at all.
  4. My mini splits barely move the needle on my electric bill.
  5. Yup plow just went by. I guess they want my street to be a gravel road. Light snow and 22,
  6. Closing in on an inch which brings me to 20” this season. Can’t get more nickel and dime than this
  7. My town did that last week. Busted up the entire road. Broken asphalt everywhere. Overkill
  8. Blowing around out there. Band pivoting SW, that should be it for the heavy stuff
  9. Nothing worse than cold and dry
  10. What’s not even close? The temps will be warming up. March is meteorological sprint. It’s coming
  11. Gradual warming trend every day for the next 6 days. Upper 40s by end of next week. Spring is coming
  12. Do you think there is a chance the moon is made out of cheese? If so, what type of cheese?
  13. I remember that well, unfortunately. I got the flurries in western Suffolk while the east end got buried
  14. 29 today. I have a legit glacier in the backyard. Mounds of solid ice. Pretty cool
  15. Florida had a larger storm than we did. Max event here for me was 5”. Florida had 10”…unacceptable
  16. Euro has the storm down around South Carolina now, with no snow north of SE VA. I get people being hopeful for a trend, but it’s time to give it up.
  17. The unique part of this winter was the lack of any sustained thaw. Very few days above 50 and I don’t believe any days above 50 with sunshine. Just a cold, dark winter with below average snowfall.
  18. Snow cover is down to some slush on the grass and some small pockets of snow cover. 12 days to Met spring!
  19. Whose PB? this thread should be locked and you need to get some sleep.
