Not on the north shore. I’ve been fishing and swimming in these waters for 40 years and I’ve never seen one and neither have my friends.

They’re even at the marina today. I’ve been there for 40 years, never seen one there or anywhere in the sound even.

Lots of sting rays in the sound and Long Island harbors this heat. I’ve been boating here my whole life and I’ve never seen them before

Plenty of people who don’t fish use their boats. Coming from someone at the marina every week…also no sailboaters fish and they are out a lot as well. what keeps people from using their boats is kids sports and bad weather. That’s about it

It’s great to have a boat but not with kids who have lots of activities. For me the boat is great without kids but when kids bring their friends and parents it becomes a chore and I am just a charter captain for the day working my ass off. Not fun. 85 today

59 last night. New location doesn’t radiate well at all. Not sure why that is. Maybe being on top of a hill?
