Picked up 1.25” again today. Seems like I don’t go more than 3-4 days without rain this year. The end of April was my driest point of the year when I went about 3 weeks without rain. .

I ended up with around 2.15”. Got lucky with a cell that stalled when it interacted with a outflow boundary and sorta pulsed backwards before moving SE. .

Had around another inch today in N Knox Co. My fescue lawn looks really good for this time off year. I’ve even had some fungus issues with a few shrubs. I know hot and humid stinks but for lawn guys like myself, hot and dry is worse. .

It’s crazy that Knoxville area has had 2 tornado warnings in less than a week at the end of June. The one Thursday afternoon was on top of me. The one today was 5 miles or so north. .

There seems to be more imbedded cell structures from I-40 north moving onto the plateau. MRX was talking about a boundary, like a warm front draped across the valley and I’m wondering if it will add more shear to the line? .

Here’s a few pic I took. The last photo looks like it could have been a wall cloud or possibly a funnel. .

Forgot to post this video I shot at my house in Halls. It was that northern most cell in Knox Co. .

Showers this morning seem unexpected. Will probably dampen storms this afternoon .

Knoxville got hammered this afternoon. Seen reports of over 2 inches. Got this pic as the storms were rolling in. .

Morgan Co got hit hard that November also. I think like 7 died in the Mossy Grove community. .

I’m ok with rain if we can stay pretty mild. Amazing that the creek behind my house is still almost at ground level. .

I was 5 miles south of Maynardville and of course I was driving .

It’s doing exactly the same thing for me. Redirects me to something I’ve never seen before and then tell me I’ll get a prize for filling out a survey. .

I’d say roads that usually need a 4x4 are in worse shape than that. . -

Just mostly drizzle to light rain in Knoxville for the most part. Knock on wood but we have escaped the major flooding to this point. . -

Honestly I cannot remember ever reading a forecast or graphic that included “potentially life threatening” for heavy rain including landslides in ETn CWA and I’m 44. . -

I’m right here at Maynardville Hwy and Emory Rd. Beaver creek is way out of its banks but luckily there’s a large spill over area that holds a lot of water. I may go take some pics if I can get to it. . -

Knoxville has been fine to this point. The flooded areas around my house are just a little higher than before this started. .
