A look at the causeway from Colchester to South Hero VT following the storms last week:

Leaf out is definitely happening at a rapid pace here in the CPV. It can be like a 2nd foliage season in some ways.

I don't think the MDT will verify but we are getting some high gusts in the wake of the front. A couple at 50 at least I think.

We have some sun here now helping to destabilize and the breezes have kicked in. 

I have camera ready! I'll be on it in the Champlain Valley. 

Too many clouds here but not sure if any did occur.

Huge depths near Smugglers Notch (I took this after skiing today) in the northern Greens of VT:

11.5" here in Winooski, VT (BTV area):

10" here in Winooski this morning! 

7.1" here as of just before 4am. We are going to make a run at double digits

Its official....as of 10:27pm, I have hit 30".
Move over 4/1/97.....KGAY has a new king-

4" here thus far. Our forecast total is 10" as of this afternoon's update which is an increase. 

We will zero out on major events in my neck of the woods this year but the skiing is great right now.

And snow has all but stopped here for now.

Very good snow growth here in the BTV area with everything pasted nicely. This is a good start.

I am disappointed that we will end this year here without a double digit snowfall event but the skiing will continue to be great of course in the northern Greens so I won't complain too much :).

BTV has us pegged for 7" with a 1 in 10 shot at 18+ . What I do like is the models consistently hooking us up in the CPV with this one. Obviously I doubt we will see the 18 but the 7 would be good.

Hahah something like that. Somehow the Euro still gives me 10" (some CPV Magic/Upslope). Dilly Dilly!

This is one time when you want the king to be dethroned.

With the winter off the rails here and the big coastal expected to be a non event in this neck of the woods it is time to look ahead to next year. Post your thoughts here on what it might look like.
