So much for the cool and rainy El Nino summer. Looks like our drought could get even worse. This was at Falls Lake yesterday (main sections still have water but even that is looking quite shallow in places):

Raleigh is getting screwed again so far. A new line of storms popped off the boundary to the east and there is a gap over us while the rain west of here seems to have hit a wall.

I wish there was a climo station in town either on the NCSU campus or at one of the city parks.

97F at RDU for the 4pm ob. I am already over this shit. That also sets the new record for all time earliest heat to this magnitude.
