  1. CC loop shows the mix line collapsing really well across York and Adams counties. Should see a lot of posts here soon from the Fredick/Carroll/Baltimore/Harford posters over the next couple hours. This was really well pinged by the morning run of the NAMs and RGEM.
  2. 511 cam for MD Route 30 @ PA line is now caked in snow. Wasn't like that a few hours ago.
  3. If you look at the 0.5 degree CC loop on LWX radar, the mix line is definitely dropping SW from York County.
  4. As an OEM in Montgomery, the difference between upper and lower portions of the county is insane. I've seen even where inside the beltway it's nothing and north of Germantown it's pounding big time.
  5. Yup. The returns working SW from Lancaster and Chester Counties and that would help cool the column off more and starting flipping people back to snow.
  6. Check out the returns on the radar just south of DC insreasing.
  7. Yup! Gotta be a sneaky warm layer in there somewhere.
  8. Latest SPC mesoanalysis update show the RH at 700mb back up to 90% in northern Maryland. Good to see the drier air getting pushed out.
  9. LWX upping the winds in the warning text for the mason-dixon counties now. Gusts up to 35 mph.
  10. This is very good to see. It seems there is a bit of a residual warm layer but it isn't big and is getting purged pretty quickly.
  11. Don't look now, but the 0.5 degree CC on LWX radar is looking better and there's some yellows starting to show up just to our north across Carroll and Baltimore counties. . .
  12. DC and points north would like the 12z ICON and RGEM and to a lesser extend, the NAMs.
  13. Yup. If we can just get the 850 temps to cool like 2 degrees we'll be sitting pretty.
  14. Yea, if this tucked up near Wallops Island it would've been nice.
  15. Frederick ASOS (FDK) now reporting moderate snow with north winds.
  16. Good to see this. Should be about an hour or two until it hits the I-83 corridor.
  17. Latest 700mb analysis in SPC meso page shows moistening which should continue to promote more effective cloud seeding.
  18. I can't post because I'm mobile, but you can really see the low level jet starting to crank on the 925/850 mb SPC meso analysis. Should see the radar continue to light up.
  19. LWX has extended all the advisories until midnight. The mason dixon counties are now under the winter storm warning through 6am Tues.
