11.5-12 inches in Lewes. Insane blowing and drifting. About equal to the 2018 bomb cyclone. Standing at about 23 for the season so far, which is more than double our seasonal average, and way more than I ever expected going into the season.

It's snow. Just looked outside. Like someone flipped a switchI didn’t see if it was talked about, but is there any ground truth to the rain at the DE beaches, and approaching AC? Was that talked about and I blacked out?

Wow. Ever model but gfs moved west right? Even crappy models like ICON and JMA....but its hard to bet against GFS with its recent track record

Now there's a name that takes me back....before we had subforums, and we were all discussing the same storm in the same thread, my favorite thing was to warn the newbies that their behavior was going to get them weenie-tagged, so they would get even worse to try to prove me wrong, and then they'd end up weenie-tagged.
the best nemesis I had was Tornado Tony because he'd come up with the most hilarious insults

True, and very photogenic in the snow. I already pucked up my post roast for Friday night dinner...just tastes better on a cold and stormy night. About to head to work...at a grocery store. They don't care if the forecast is a inch, they panic either way...Normally no, but the upcoming period looks more dicey for snow on the coastal plain, and I could use a fix- of snow and DFH.
Rehoboth beach and Lewes are actually my favorite nearby places to visit.

Is it really worth chasing for 5" though? We got more than that January 3rd...Yeah a couple more runs and I think the Euro and GFS will look about the same. Hopefully there is a little improvement from the GFS in getting to that point.

I'm feeling a little nervous that the east trend might even skunk us, but I feel like 4-5" is a reasonable expectation as of right now. Clearly GFS is taking the Euro to the woodshed in terms of forecasting accuracy, so it's hard to be excited for more..As it stands I am probably heading to Rehoboth on Friday.
