Turned out to be a pretty nice lil storm. First at my new home. About .50 of pixie dust in everything

Somehow the whiners get the jackpot yet again and we get snow to rain with a damn arctic front

Nice GFS run for us.

That was an amazing winter. We didn't know how good we had itWhen and where was this taken? I’m going to take a wild guess: Sandy Point, February 2015?

Typical cross bay snobbery, but then again I'm in Delaware, so what do I care

The way they talk about the euro run, you'd think there wasn't a flake anywhere... I guess people don't live on this side of the Bay bridge

They're all happy about the GFS run and I'm over here like...ugh.,

Amen! I would like to see the whole sub get in on something good. It's been feast or famine for too long. @CAPE and I have made out good in recent winters that skunked you guys along i95, I'd rather see something where we all get cold smoke.not surprised, it sticks out.
That one hugged the coast more. It was better organized. I don't think this has as much potential. But I seriously would die for 3-5" of cold smoke on a Saturday afternoon that sticks to the street....LFG

This was mentioned as a analog the other day..y area got 18" so no complaints here.Kuchera vs 10:1
We could def get 12:1 overall...with some 15:1....if the storm even happens or exists
This reminds me of one of the Feb 96 storms....I think the 2nd.....2/16/96
Really good trends on modeling today, let's hope they hold.

Howling at the Delaware beaches. Worst since Isaias in some spots.

Thanks but I really don't need the advice from you, respectfully. Been on these boards since 2003. I know how snow maps work, and I know what our climo and expectations are down here. Thank you.never look a snow map straight in the eyes. take a quick glance get a sense of it and move on
(Not to even mention that this was a historical snow map from a storm that happened in 1996)

That stripe of 18" over my house in DE looks pretty tasty. I'd takeI still don’t think the 13th will cut like the GFS.
Regardless, todays 18z gfs reminded me of Feb 2-3 96
.

Agreed. We take what we can get. We did get 2-3 storms while those to our north and west have been in a massive snow drought.I am always playing with house money down here so whatever will be will be

I feel it's too early to make such final predictions. But I usually don't give up until the last minute. Either way, with the upcoming pattern I feel confident we will cash in at some point.Meh, storms like this were the reason this thread got started in the first place. Probably all rain for SoMD.

Time to bump this up. Weekend worth watching. We know what we need for something like this to work, and we start with a worse handicap than the rest of the forum. Regardless it's nice to be tracking something, and still a week out for fluctuations.

One good model suite and now most of the LR thread is on cloud 9 again

This thread gives me more whiplash than a Willow Smith music video
(Please forgive the OT, but really I felt it had to be said. However it is very nice to see encouraging trends once again on guidance)

So I put a certain person on ignore and I started noticing them pop up in my feed again. I thought maybe there was a site policy where ignore expires after a certain time or something. So I went to re-ignore and I see that he is still plainly shown as on my ignore list. Anybody have any idea what is up?
If someone else quotes the ignored person, you can see their post.

A period of -PNA to start December has been very well modeled and expected for like a week? And it’s also been seasonally expected for December by almost all monthly or seasonal outlooks?
But it's more fun to panic about it
