    I thought that from 1-2 weeks ago, the first 1/2 to 2/3 of Feb looked like crap based on pretty good ensemble and teleconnections agreement. That looks to be playing out despite a couple of phantom storm runs by Op models. I’ll leave it to CAPE to find the light at the end of the tunnel for later Feb/March.

    Ravens never really had a chance with the offensive product that they put out there today. At least the Squealers and Patriots were both eliminated from the playoffs today.

    His low-ball snowfall forecast is certainly on track so far. However, he already busted on temps calling for a warmer than normal December. It was 1.6 deg below normal at DCA for December. He also said January would have some "good cold weather". That is not looking so likely at this point. Maybe his "very warm Feb/March outlook will also bust.
