  1. Then again, a further SE track might imply less mixing for me...
  2. This is all sound analysis and reasoning. I know this is location sensitive, but some of us will lose QPF to sleet and freezing rain as well. Not all of the precip depicted is snow down here.
  3. If this goes down the way the Euro just depicted, I would be thrilled!
  4. 6-12" is my bar. If I get to 6, rest is gravy. Only that I know for certain - I have no control over what I or anyone else gets. Trends aren't good but that isn't surprising really.
  5. Bottom line - still not the time to make definitive statements either way. Lots of moving parts. Tomorrow will bring surprises...where and how will be a nowcast.
  6. I have very light flurries, barely discernable, and .4" so far. 27 degrees. Snow is beginning to melt on my road.
  7. Horst hasn't posted a new map, but sort of dropped places like my area and nutsville from 12-18" down to 6-12" Says he feels that the heavy totals are aimed for the Lehigh Valley. Did say areas near the turnpike could see a foot.
  8. 96 was my longest storm in duration. I had snow continuously for 37 hours.
  9. Thank you. I respect you as one of the finest gentlemen on here. I went into the mid-Atlantic thread the other night and told them what a great thread we have with a bunch of amazing people. All I ask for is that we respect each other. Plain and simple. I started a big thing when all I was trying to do was keep things above the line. I speak up to defend people when I feel they aren't being treated well and I will not stop doing so. I guess that's why my career is in HR. Carry on. I'm finished with this and ready to move forward.
  10. I'm truly sorry that I upset you. I only wanted to convey a message to keeping our comments above the line. That was all.
  11. Back in 2000 there was a Miller B that was modeled and forecast to give me 24"+ up until 8 hours before gametime. I ended up with partly cloudy skies. It was an incredible bust. It happens even when every model says it won't.
  12. Yep, that's a fair assessment. Could be right..don't know yet.
  13. Let's stay above the line and not tear up mets. We can end up looking mighty foolish.
  14. Until it's on the ground, Tom Russell might be correct. I think he's way underdone, especially northeast of Harrisburg, but until it's actually happening, I think we should at least be respectful.
  15. I'm guilty as charged. A 6-12" storm would be and should be celebrated if we weren't teased with 30"+ model runs. Perspective...
  16. Oh, I do my fair share of fretting! Thank you for the compliment. I love Ji!
  17. It's not just east, it's northeast. I lost 15" on one run. Reading bullseye.
