The Net's are probably angling for it though if no Vax requirement lift, I think the Sixers win that series. Can you imagine a first round Sixers/Nets and Big Ben East is playing.
Certainly respect your thought - I think I've seen every second of every game this year and I just don't see it. The one thing that I'll say that we've improved on from last year is free throw shooting, which is big. But constantly giving up 2nd and 3rd chances and not getting back in transition more than offset that. And, I feel like we can't count on the bench for anything. Niang will score 18 one game, 3 the next. Green is the same way. Korkmaz has been banished to garbage time because of awful he's played.
We have a lot of issues.

I saw a 76ers logo and had to respond! I only worry about Boston and Brooklyn. Any other team in the east we should be relative favorites. We would probably go 7 games with Miami but I don’t fear them. Boston has the best record in NBA since January 1 and Brooklyn would be hella motivated to beat us. The oddest statistic this year is our home vs away record. We used to be unstoppable at home. Just odd. Team is still getting used to playing with each other. Bench is an issue but hopefully Doc shortens it during the playoffs.
As a full season ticket member, believe me...I'm fully aware of how bad we've been at home.
Sorry, but our issues run way beyond "getting used to each other" - sure, there is that element, but this team does not get back on defense, has a bench comprised of guys who got outscored by Orlando's bench 51-19 the other night, and routinely gets killed on the glass. Also ironic that you mentioned that there are only a couple of teams that you worry about - I don't think there's a playoff team in the east that is worried about playing us.

That you are. This brings to mind something I have thought about in the past, that being, in terms of negating expected snowfall losses, how much would you be willing to give up in latitude to gain in elevation? For example, I think I would would want to gain at least roughly 100 feet in elevation for every 10 miles I moved south, or something to that effect. To put this in perspective, as the crow flies I'm about 25 miles north of the Maryland border, so I'd want to gain 250' in elevation if I moved there. Thoughts from others??
I'm heading to Mammoth Lakes CA in May of next year. That is my dream place to live. Cost of living says it will remain just that, a dream - so with that in mind, next up on my list is between Lake George and Lake Placid in the 'Dacks.

No I doubt it.
Good. Save yourself some disappointment. This team is still somewhat significantly overrated in my opinion.

Picked up .16" of rain so far. Temp is 48. Not much on radar until you get down into central VA.

Question about Mount Joy - is parking readily available at the station there? Have a friend between there and Lancaster wanting to go to NYC but Lancaster has no real parking ... I never pay attention to the Mount Joy "station" when we make that brief stop from HBG.
Middletown just opened a new station with MUCH more parking, btw.
Mount Joy has plenty of parking directly above the station. The entire area (parking, platform, and access) was completely revamped in the past few years. It's a very nice setup. It's also signed well for those who are new to using the station.

Backing down incrementally so that when it's 83 the first week of April the sting won't be so sore...

Elliott hedging a bit now on April snow...seems a little less enthused:

I am not at all joking...my heat is on right now. I have it set to 65 and it is 61 out. It has only come on once or twice today but it is on right now. LOL
I got home yesterday at 5pm and the temp inside was 71. I was aghast. Neither the heat or the AC was on, but that lasted all of 5 seconds. I had it down to 65 in a matter of minutes.
In all seriousness - if I didn't have the AC running on a day like today, it would easily be 75-77 inside by evening. I have a lot of east and south facing windows.

Oh, I know it's true. HR is the southern California sports fan...late to the game and first to leave.

Same
I'm a morning person. from the time my alarm goes off, i spring out of bed singing. My lunch is packed the night before, so i shower, throw my lunch in the jelly bucket and out the door. i am at work 30 minutes after alarm goes off.
I pack my lunch, get my shower, and have my clothes for the next day precisely arranged all in the evening. I wake up, get dressed, take care of "business", grab my lunch and I'm off. 30 minutes until I'm working as well! Only difference is that I have a 20 minute commute.

LOL. Don't forget your AM Blizz report as well.
I always shower in the morning so that alone is 15-20 min.
I'll read Blizz's comments but don't spend much time looking at the maps...

It takes me 30-60 min to get ready for work with eating and everything so if I got up at 8, I would not be starting working until 9....which is 2 hours later than reality. LOL. A lot of larger companies that have WFH have software checking that the employee is present and working as early as usual.
From the time I get out of bed to getting in my car is about 10 minutes. I eat breakfast (granola bars and juice) at my desk and take care of overnight emergencies first (did the Euro move north, south, east, or west, and what did the 6z NAM show) before moving on to less important, work-related activities.

My WFH phone alarm is set for 8 a.m.
On a typical work day I've got a good 2-3 hours in already. I'm almost always the first in the office, but HR people typically are lazy.

Not at all, I was reporting a low number. I was surprised that it was only 52 at that point. It feels it out as well. But we know that general area south of Harrisburg went all HIA this past summer :-).
Yeah, I was shocked when you reported the 52. I had to do some quick checks to make sure that I was in line with other readings. I'm at 65 now.

Y'all are getting a head start on your summer HIA thing. LOL. Actually if you look on Wunderground your temp is pretty common. MDT's is low and I am sitting at 800' so...
Were you thinking that I, of all people, was reporting inflated numbers?

It's been interesting to read the thoughts of you who have shared about the time change issue. There is a lot that could potentially be impacted if there's a change. I think it's great that while there are some on both sides of the ledger, everyone has been respectful of the thoughts of each other.

Holy cow - 62.2 in the historic district. 70 should be a lock unless clouds spoil the party this afternoon.

Some talk in schools about doing their own changes. School starts at one time during the winter and a different time in the fall and spring.
That's an interesting concept. Flexibility...

Yep, I get it. And as it stands at the moment, if the Nets drew Toronto in round #1, Irving would be out for the entire series.
