  1. It's been an odd season - I think the thing that stands out from perhaps "normal" years is the amount of days that have been downright pleasant. Perhaps that leaves some people feeling like it's been cooler than normal overall, that just isn't the case. If I didn't know better I'd have guessed that we were running a little below normal for met summer...and I've had 8 days of temps at or above 90. Edit: Not all of those 90 degree days have been during met summer.
  2. https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php MU aligns with the 60s talk for tomorrow and generally agrees with the GFS, though he does think that Sunday gets into the 90s with high humidity prior to the cool down to start the new week.
  3. Incredible bonus if it happens - I'm not complaining about the conditions today...man, have we been blessed over the past 5-6 days. Actually feels like summer out there right now, which it should. I might be tempted to complain a bit if I get shut out on the rain though...getting missed a lot lately.
  4. Still nary a drop here...of course, my area wasn't supposed to see rain until after 5pm. Currently 82 and tropical.
  5. A shower here at the office, nothing once again at home...missed just to my east again. Looks like Adams/Franklin are going to take it on the chin in a little while.
  6. MU Weather Center@MUweather Today's #SevereWeather threat will remain west of Route 11/15. The air is simply too stable to support damaging thunderstorms farther east. Heavy downpours, lightning and damaging wind gusts up to 65 mph are the main threats in western parts of the Valley and across central PA.
  7. Forget the "itst", I'll just be happy with some "rainingtime" later on.
  8. 78 here, like the snowman I also got up to 86 yesterday with a late rally in temps. My mid 80s call verified. Nice to be lucky for once.
  9. Understood. That's always a good approach when it comes to summertime precip in the Great Valley. LOL
  10. Really hoping for rain later, but CTP really cuts the rain off east of the river. Looks like according to them, you might see 1"-1.5" inches, perhaps a bit more. For my area, the forecast is for <.5"
  11. I was shocked by how pleasant it still is out there.
  12. My temp hasn't budged over the past hour. Holding at 78 at home. Just went outside quickly after seeing your (bubbler) post...thought it would feel like a swamp once the sun arrived. It doesn't.
  13. 78 here currently under partly to mostly sunny skies.
  14. Looks like some pretty good rain in the LSV tomorrow evening.
  15. Most of us should see the sun around noon - still think 85 or so is doable for us. I'm at 72 now but expecting it to jump quickly.
  16. Congrats on the rain. I got the clouds minus the moisture. I think the temps rocket this afternoon but not sure Bubbler makes a 30 degree jump...
  17. Tomorrow looks like a mixed bag kind of day and Friday right now looks very nice. Thursday might be a good day to find a place to, you know...find a libation or three.
  18. It looks like it'll definitely miss me to the west - if it holds together, it looks like Bubbler and possibly you will get inside that band.
  19. She's coming home on Saturday - which is the next day it's to be sunny. Lots of clouds and showers down that way over the next 3-4 days.
  20. Is that batch forecasted to fizzle out before reaching the southern tier?
