  1. I was also about to post this - the administration building here on top of the hill is shaking a bit. This is legit winds right now. Seems easily Wind Advisory-worthy.
  2. I went to bed at 11 last night and it was 38. 9 hours later it's 62...
  3. And not really a mention of snow. That's what I noticed.
  4. Updated weather discussion from MU includes a shoutout for the trainer! (or at least my screen name) https://www.millersville.edu/weathercenter/forecasts/weather-discussion.php
  5. You're consistent - you went from one underachieving team to another one.
  6. That's what I was saying this morning about the Winter Weather announcements on the interstate highway warning system - we get dangerous travel conditions with no messages, and all kinds of messages when we end up getting no winter weather.
  7. Just noticed that things "improved" for severe chances tomorrow (Slight risk extended for just about everyone):
  8. Here's a sidebar problem to this awareness situation - wife and I traveled to Philly last night for the 19th time since the end of October. It was at least the 4th time that the electronic highway signs on 283, 30, and 222 were all announcing "Winter Weather Expected..." which in this case, was for this morning. My wife sees this and starts laughing...I look at her and ask what's so funny, and she goes on and on about "the stupid signs talking about winter weather that never happens". She's right...every one of those instances where the signage indicated winter weather was coming...it never did. So now, we have people like my wife who see those signs and immediately dismiss them because they're just not believable to so many people. It's a can't win situation.
  9. I think his intention was to simply be positive and realistic at the same time.
  10. Maybe all of the manure spread over the past few weeks around here doesn't radiate well?
  11. I've noticed what you're saying as well, and honestly, it confuses me. Take the map you posted earlier this morning - much of Lanco is in the 22-24 degree range, and some of those locations are very remote. Definitely no HIA heat island dynamic in play there.
  12. Pretty scene there - too bad they closed up shop for the season on Sunday.
  13. Roundtop and Whitetail both closed for the season on Sunday, March 20th. I was looking at the webcams for both of those resorts on Saturday the 19th and while both had a fair amount of terrain open, the conditions were horrid. That week was full of sunny, 60+ degree days. Most of the trails were slush runs. So I think it's safe to say that you're right about the AN temps in the middle of the month.
  14. Exactly. Getting a KU in April probably happens as often as March 1993.
  15. I have a feeling that the reality will be a big 'ole FU to the MU KU.
  16. Yes they are, and save for the extreme southern border of PA, they've only gone with a Marginal for most of us on their day #3 outlook.
  17. Even out in your area, mostly low 20s this morning. Thanks for posting. I'm guessing the winds were the culprit overnight? When I went to bed, it was still howling outside.
  18. I was going to make a comment that as is often the case, the cold underperformed here. I thought it was to get colder but I admit I didn't look into it much at all. Regardless - I needed a jacket this morning which doesn't happen often on 3/29.
  19. What was the HRRR showing for this morning? I knew that I wasn't getting into the teens when I went to bed - I was at 25 at 8pm...3 hours later I was 27.
