This is really good stuff and I read it a couple of times to ponder what you're saying. This is the time of year when sensible weather really can and does vary even just across the LSV and immediate adjacent areas. For example, a few Saturdays ago @Bubbler86was getting snow squalls with temps in the 30s while I was partly sunny and 50. That IS a big difference, and I'm sure there were those in Franklin county that had a much different perspective of how the weather was that day compared to those of us farther east. And that kind of difference is probably most often played out in late March and April - once you get into May, warmth tends to become more uniform in our area unless an east wind knocks our area down in temps. Your overall observations of temps for those that you mentioned, yes I'd completely agree with you...very accurate assessment.

Tough time of the year - some want to hang on to anything remotely resembling winter as long as the possibly can, while others are beyond ready for warm weather to persist. Both feelings are perfectly acceptable.

A lot of high level cloudiness has arrive here as well. Might cap temps a bit lower, we'll see.

At 11:30 it's 74.4 here - MU going for a high this afternoon in Lanco near 83. (record for the date in Lanco is 85)

I've been at 3 MLB games that had snow falling - the other 2 didn't come close to this bad boy though. That squall was legit. (as you can see)

paweather is indeed much closer but I assumed he's got underground freezing apparatus so that while we have April snow TV, he experiences April "snow show" on his lawn.

My neighbor was out mowing yesterday afternoon and we got to talking. He knows all about my weather "interest" and I was telling him about this forum and how I "know" someone 90 minutes away from us that hasn't mowed yet this spring. With that, he removed his cap, wiped his brow and said "what...is the guy's yard 3' high or what?" I told him I'd pass his question along. LOL

48 was the low here overnight. Picked up some very light rain earlier as well. Current temp is 60.

I spent so many nights on 33rd Street in the late 70s when games started at 7:35pm and I was on 83 northbound around 10pm. Lots of games ended by 9:45pm or so...then the question became how long would it take to get out of the lot at Eastern High School.

2-0 game back when I was a kid was played in 2 hours give or take. 3 hour games were rare and only happened in slugfests if then.

Yes you did, and that was a great call! I certainly wasn't arguing with you, but at the same time I didn't have nearly the confidence that you did. I've been jaded by far too many choke jobs over the years.

Sixers have the Raptors who we lost 3 out of 4 to. We do not match up well with their athleticism at all. We'll see...
