  1. I've only been there once - I just thought I'd throw it out there sort of as a courtesy that something might be affecting a lot of people outdoors.
  2. No idea, I just assumed there were a lot of people there.
  3. Orioles exhausted the bullpen over the weekend in Tampa - score runs early and it's all over.
  4. I'm at 12 ninety degree days. At this point it would have to hit 90 almost every day until the end of August to catch up to the 47 that I had just 3 years ago. That's for my station. Comparatively, MU had 38 days of 90+ in 2020. (they're only at 9 or 10 so far this year)
  5. Yep - really high rates at the core of that thing.
  6. And once again, it's the overnights that are the culprit.
  7. CTP isn't saying much at all about tomorrow - only 30% POPs even over here. SPC sees the threat mainly south and east:
  8. MU banging the severe beat for tomorrow: A vigorous, upper-level disturbance will traverse the mid-Atlantic States tomorrow and combine with extreme amounts of moisture and instability to trigger scattered strong-to-severe thunderstorms across northern MD and southeastern PA between ~1-8 PM..
  9. Exactly right - that storm is northern Adams is just sitting there.
  10. Looks to me like 3 to at most 4 days of 90s with Thursday and Friday being the surest bets. Right now it looks to me more like mid 90s kind of heat with only an outside chance that some of the proverbial hot spots taking a run at 100, mainly on Friday.
  11. Dean Smith must have coached that game. Stupid 4 corners basketball.
  12. They didn't use all of their timeouts - could have helped changed the momentum...
  13. LOL, when interleague play started years ago the Phillies were good and the O's were awful. We'd end up winning most of the series between us. I fully expect that now that the O's are in 1st place that the Phillies will sweep them right on out of Citizen's Bank Park.
  14. I just missed out on a whole lot of rain this morning - by a matter of a few miles.
  15. And right down the road in Lancaster there have been 6 mornings this month below 65. (MU)
  16. Might need some sort of flood statement east of Harrisburg, that area has already been hit hard and another cell is moving in. #itstrainingtime
  17. That thing is a lot deeper than the image you posted from last evening's GFS.
  18. @sauss06- welcome home! Hope you had a great week.
  19. Dry here at work, but it's raining at home. So far .05" in the bucket.
  20. Mammoth Mountain will be closing for the season (skiing) on August 6th. A very warm summer took down the snowpack a little quicker than anticipated. Skiing into August is still pretty remarkable.
  21. So here we have the forum's snowminsta and the warminsta...snowminsta started a thread last year only to see it go down in flames. Okay, more like a bomb went off. If the warminsta starts it this year, things have to be better...right?
  22. Living in Lancaster PA as a diehard O's fan in a sea of red is going to be stressful the next 3 days. Hopefully the Birds can at least grab 2 of 3.
  23. I remember that well, great point to bring up right now. Nothing is a sure thing until it's happening.
