  1. Let's be honest here...Harrisburg doesn't have an airport, period.
  2. Quiet day in the world of HR. Have to create my own issues. LOL
  3. I mean sorta...but clearly, you're closer to my bun than his. Wait...that don't sound so good. LOL
  4. Striking difference in weather today across the Keystone state:
  5. Only 2 home games played but my wife and I are very, very happy to be former Society 76 members. Compared to benefits/perks offered by teams in other sports, the Sixers offerings were minimal. Had to pay full price for parking and concessions and very modest discount on merchandise. Our money will be much better spent elsewhere. And then...there's the team...
  6. Here is CTP's AFD from 12:07pm yesterday afternoon...literally just a few hours from the onset of one of the biggest rainmakers for me this year - essentially, a 0% chance or rain reaching my area... Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service State College PA 1207 PM EDT Sun Oct 23 2022 .SYNOPSIS... Low pressure will linger off of the east coast through early this week, as a ridge of high pressure holds over Pennsylvania. A weakening cold front is likely to push through the state late Wednesday, then high pressure should build in from the Great Lakes to end the week. && .NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 PM THIS EVENING/... 1045 am update... Our current forecast is pretty well in hand, so only a few cosmetic tweaks were made, based on the latest observational data. Late morning satellite and radar imagery showed Atlantic moisture making a slow approach into the Commonwealth from the east and southeast. The overall environment appears to be dry enough across the forecast area (even the Susquehanna Valley and western Poconos) to keep most, if any rainfall from reaching the ground this afternoon/early evening. The latest suite of high resolution, near-term model guidance well supports this thinking. We`ll retain a very low chance (20-30%) of some patchy light rain/drizzle over eastern Lancaster and Schuylkill counties, but that`s about it.
  7. Rain has stopped - 2.16" in the bucket. @Mount Joy Snowman I'm glad you exceeded the 2" mark as well...I felt guilty reporting such high totals. It essentially poured the entire night.
  8. I was thinking of that last evening. Very true. I'm currently at 2.07".
  9. I have 1.98" - I'll say! It's still raining...I'm going to end up over 2" for what was a 20% chance of an isolated shower.
  10. Overachiever in progress tonight- .27" and still raining. Never did I think I'd get over a quarter inch of rain from this.
  11. Rain continues to fall here. 56 degrees with .07" so far.
  12. The Phillies are everything that their friends who play on the hardwood are not - a true team, full of likeable guys who seem to enjoy and pull for each other every night. And unlike the basketball team, the Phillies are fun to watch.
  13. Down 15 to 58 here. Perfect fall evening. Agree with you about early next week-thinking a few areas get into the 75-78 range.
  14. Got up to 73 here today. Spectacular weather. Looking like at least 2 more days in the 70s in store on Monday and Tuesday.
  15. High today was 67. AC is running as I type...
  16. Stan Van Gundy (correctly) argued about 17 times last night how much Embiid is killing his team by not getting back on defense. Embiid fans somehow ignore this, but it's true. I don't care how good the team is, it's tough to play 4 on 5 in the NBA.
  17. No Philly sports team has won since the 76ers game against Boston. Sixers started the downwards spiral in South Philly. LOL In all seriousness, I will continue to argue that Embiid is one of the most overrated players in the game today.
  18. Elliott from MU adding his thoughts just moments ago: Residents in many rural areas even experienced the season's first freeze early this morning. Given that most of our agriculture resides in these outlying areas, the growing season has, for all intents and purposes, ended in the Lower Susquehanna Valley.
