  1. It feels amazing outside tonight, 73 dew 65 and quite breezy. Havent felt "cool" in quite a while. A below 70 low temp seems on tap. As for DC, I think today was the chance to break the 90 streak but didnt happen. Thurs theres a small chance it doesn't make 90. If not then its many days ahead. Gonna be pushing 30+ days.
  2. 80 and drizzle, after moderate shower passed through
  3. High 91 here. At ferry point pk across the water from 92 degree LGA, sure feels like it.
  4. Yeah that was more JFK like. It think the dew point was boosted by occasional downpours throughout the day. I know it was higher than JFK at the same time. Today the soaked Park is running cooler than LGA EWR JFK, White Plains, etc..everybody except maybe Islip.
  5. Another round of heavy rain moved though but with more wind, some lightening. Seems to be along the same line multiple times today. No more drought talk here. Totally saturated ground now. 2 days of heavy rain now backyard is a small pond.
  6. Sunshine in between showers..adding to humidity. 83 dew 78 HI 93. Central park is 81 with a 77 dew point.
  7. Most downpours..flash flood warning for NE NJ and in Queens
  8. Downpour starts to move away but it keeping filling in behind it. Didnt realize storms would be moving south to north today..or SSW to NNE. Antidotely, I remember t storms coming from the south as some of the most prolific rain makers.
  9. Pouring..a little thunder. Looks sunny a few blocks east. 82 dew 77
  10. Very humid, reminds me of a Miami morning. 81 dew 76
  11. Partly Cloudy/hazy, 84 dew 74 HI 91. Heat Advisory issued today and tomorrow for NYC.
  12. 77, dew 71. A few moments of brightening skies but generally an overcast breezy day.
  13. Park is slightly ahead of LGA and EWR too. Closer to the Sound, a NE wind usually keep me cooler than the Park . Still 90s though either way.
  14. It really did..but its sounded like that for over a month now so it kind of wore out its welcome for me tbh.
  15. Makes sense, I never gave it much thought. I always think about upswellings effect in water temps. Dew point shot up last hr. Low 50s to around 70. Temp down to 88. Dry mid 90s felt better. Actual 95 more tolerable than heat index of 95.
  16. I went to Robert Moses, fairly warm (around 80?) and quite humid down there. Could feel the heat more in western Nassau and a wall of heat that put AC to the test north of the LIE into the BX. 95 here but a dew point 54. On a side note I cant remember ever seen waters so turquoise around here, alot of ppl were marveling at it.
  17. The cool 96 summer was like the historic 95-96 winter refusing to fully let go.
  18. After the rain down to 77..dew 76 Park got to 90.
  19. missing the heavy stuff..mostly cloudy drizzle/light rain 90 after high of 92.
