My take is that the operational runs will continue to look bleak until around the first and then suddenly start looking better. And it won't be just the elusive 15 day that looks better, but closer in like the 7 - 10 day. Of course that still doesn't mean it will snow, but at least that would give something for the frustrated to do. As a side note, that January 7 storm might be something worth watching. Even a 1-3" event would be nice to see.

I saw that as a special showing on the big screen at the Senator Theater last week. So much fun. Also, saw It's a Wonderful Life at the Senator on Sunday morning. Then had tots and wings at Swallow at the Hollow for lunch. Good times!

Man, a kid getting sick for Christmas is the worst.

Scraff helped design the can. He works in the beer (drinking) industry. I’ve mastered the biscotti recipe and she’s got a lot of Italian in her family so antipasto comes naturally to her.

I finished up baking the cranberry pistachio biscotti for gifts this evening while my gf made antipasto for tomorrow’s Christmas dinner.

My buddy found a case of Dogfish Head Pennsylvania Tuxedo and gave me a four pack. I've got it on the back porch chilling now so I need it to get colder outside quickly.

The next time my gf and I are up in Jonjon land, we should get together for a beer. Maybe at his brewery. On that note, Cape, I'll be doing a trip down to Rehoboth later this week if you want to meet up at Dogfish Head. I'll keep you posted on which day.

The blizzard of 79 is still my favorite snowstorm. Under-forecasted and incredibly heavy snow rates.

Judging by some of your recent posts, if you had been around for the majority of the winters in these parts in the 70's, you would have been institutionalized.

Thanks! By the way, January 2018 was much below normal precip-wise, so that 12 month record will likely continue to get broken.

I'm not sure if you posted it before or if I read it somewhere else (maybe RodneyS had posted it?), but do you know the all-time record for most precipitation in any 12 month period? I don't think we've gotten there yet but we have to be getting close.
