  1. I had SSP’s that looked like that when I was a kid. My brother always liked the the rocket shaped ones, but I went for the boxy muscle look. His always beat mine in a race, but his favorite one got crushed by a school bus when he tried to go under it as it passed by, so I guess I ultimately won. i definitely had this one...
  2. If you have ten minutes, this is worth reading. Pretty sad. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-52311877
  3. My sideburns are coming in pretty well now. How do I know? My girlfriend hates them. Good times.
  4. I'm not sure if I should take this literally or not, but I like it.
  5. So far, I think it’s just Jacksonville. But like the mayor of shark city in Jaws said, if we don’t open our beaches, the $ goes somewhere else. Many will follow suit.
  6. Duh. They are vacationing. And then they can go back home and give the ultimate gift to all their friends.
  7. Jacksonville is the only cam that I saw that had victims on the beaches and I went through several cities.
  8. Yep. Real. https://www.actionnewsjax.com/weather/skycams/
  9. 6pm on the beach in Jacksonville.
  10. I told a buddy last week that the nhl should have packed all the players and gone to northern Canada to find a few decent ponds and played out the season there. Can you imagine?!?
  11. The best pens ever. Frixion by Pilot. They're erasable!! And not crappy erasable. Completely erases all my mistakes, of which there are many.
  12. I wasn't referring to you. You entertain me.
  13. I've got a half growler of Duclaw's Peanut Butter Porter in the fridge from last night. Probably a little less fizzy, but so what?
  14. Because kids do'n't live with old people.
  15. Why did i just click, "show this post"?
  16. Yeah, I thought so too. Here's a link to the complete ariticle. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-military-sympt/coronavirus-clue-most-cases-aboard-us-aircraft-carrier-are-symptom-free-idUSKCN21Y2GB
  17. 60% of the about 600 crew members that tested positive on the Theodore Roosevelt are asymptomatic. Gives a new definition to aircraft carrier.
  18. I think you know EJ well enough to realize he was trying to make a point. eta: by the way, I’ve said those exact same words many times and yet I have nothing to base that opinion on. However, if you lived on a street that had a bank atm on the corner of Reisterstown Rd and saw the number of nincompoops that park along the street under the no parking or standing sign and block the entire intersection when there are two parking lots not more than 25 feet away, I dare say that you’d have some choice words too.
  19. You mean forget as in this will be over, or forget as in, “forget it, I’m going out regardless of consequences?”
  20. The point of view that, “If you don’t like it, then you can leave,” is really annoying. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in the world but it doesn’t change my opinion that there are some seriously selfish and entitled morons that live here. I’m not pointing fingers in this thread, just saying.
  21. I think butterfly bushes can be cut to the ground each year too to limit size. Mine can handle it anyway.
  22. Yikes. From the Wall Street Journal... “In the 24 hours ending at 8 p.m. Eastern time Thursday, 4,591 people were reported to have died from Covid-19, according to a Wall Street Journal analysis of data from Johns Hopkins University. The prior record was 2,569 on Wednesday.” It sounds insensitive to say it, but hopefully the daily death count peaks quickly so we can definitely say we are on the other side of the curve.
