Your breakdown is exactly what I have watched all winter. It's why the models keep showing me buried under 4 feet of fresh snow every two weeks from a parade of strong storms and SWFEs and then at verification time everything is sliding well OTS.

The only Feb less snowy than this one so far for Randolph was 2015/2016. I'm sure I'll get some moose fart stuff over the next week or so to widen the gap a little, but this month has been a bust. Models show very little of note through the end of the month. Average is 41, sitting at 21 so far, most of that from the storm on the 1st/2nd. Hopefully March is a real winter month here. I remember saying the same thing about February though... Need precip!

00z Euro is back to showing all the threats sliding south of here again. Been the story of the season. Precip hole over NNE. I’m sure this will flip just in time for the warm air to pour in later in March. Seems pretty classic.

My old backyard is usually 3 inches of snow, some sleet, then freezing drizzle in these events. That's what I would expect.

I usually dictate my posts to my private secretary and she posts them for me to this Internet website, but sometimes I type them up on my typewriter and and fax them over to the board moderator and he uploads them to the world wide web for me. That's a bit trickier but works in a pinch!

This subforum has a problem, though. A lot of posters have been complaining about it, and "the staff" just laughs at them. Hope something changes before posters like Ji aren't even here anymore.

LOL this thread is dead. Been a pretty slow couple of weeks since the early Feb storm. Hope we at least get back into a bread and butter pattern soon. Next week shows a pretty lengthy spell of light upslope stuff, at least.

It must absolutely blow your mind that FL and CA have basically the same COVID metrics despite wildly different approaches to handling the virus. If anything, CA has been worse considering FL has a much older population. Crazy indeed!
