  1. Any concern of another jog north? We are RIGHT on the line.
  2. Imo it's too far NW this early in the game. That's one tick from a changeover 84 south.
  3. Sweating bullets here on south coast. Too close for comfort for mixing.
  4. How does EPs look in long range past day 10. Does it keep blocking in place? Thanks
  5. Does it help that it's low amplification? Wonder if it had similar amplification in 1996.
  6. Negative 23.5 in 74 had to hurt. JK. Thanks for the data. I would gladly take 00-01.
  7. I think the forum would be optimistic if we had 2 good years in a row instead of 2 below average. This IO warm pool is most concerning as it seems to be dominating our weather and it's unrelenting. Question is when it will cool down
  8. Hey Don hate to bother, however once the pattern flips to Pacific flow dominace do you feel that we will have "breaks" in the pattern favorable to cold/snow in Jan and Feb, or so you believe we are heading towards a 2011 2012 type pattern stability? 2016 2017 would be a good example of the former. For the latter of course with the "fluke" scenario and March volatility taken aside. The reason I personally feel better about this winter is the warm pool in the NE Pacific and the blocking that for some reason is showing itself.
  9. Ended up with 12 in SW CT. Eastern CT got slotted.
  10. Perhaps a trailing wave following a cutter like January 2012
  11. Looking at 2006 how does Fairfield get 27 and Bridgeport 12.5. the towns are literally right next to each other makes no sense. 4 seasons u do a snowfall map for this one yet? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_blizzard_of_2006
  12. I somehow lucked out with that Western CT strip that gave me 9.5 and Bridgeport 5.5 on the March 13 event. 0 10 9.5 2.5 April storm 6
  13. I remember watching channel 7 news and Lonny saying he believed the EURO was correct due to the small blow up next to Deleware. At least I ended up with 7 unlike Philly which was looking at 8 to 12 and getting 0. NYC I think ended up with 10 due to the initial piece staying south of us over LI.
  14. Great write up and radar! That winter in SW CT was overall a great winter with great March snowfall, even with the Feb. dissapointments. It's funny how the mind works, getting a solid 7 inches in the blizzard but feeling ripped off due to a poor forecast. Getting a solid 10.5 while eastern areas get 16. Snowfall ended up 166% of average.
  15. I just received a trace of snow from latest snow squall!! Latest snow since 1977 here. Amazing.
  16. Perfect! Would that be 48 to 60 at 8 to 1 or 20 to 1. Got to think of power outages!
  17. Blizzard of 96 Blizzard of 2003 Blizzard of 2006
  18. Here is a good question. Which decade was better 2000 to 2009 or 2010 to 2019. Both amazing decades. I experienced only 3 below average snowfall winters in 2000 to 2009 and 2 below average in 2010 to 2019. I would go with 2010 to 2019. The 2 best 5 year periods I'm are 2010 to 2014 and 2000 to 2004. Of the 2 I would pick 2010 to 2014 but almost a coin toss.
  19. The first storm 16 second 18. I was in Norwalk until 2014 2015 season
  20. Only one of 3 20 plus storms in my lifetime 22 in 2013 20.5 in 2006
