    3k NAM has around 2 more inches what a huge surprise. Usually it's warmer than progged.

    HRRR is colder than anything else and actually gives us some accumulating snow. Interesting it's nice to see some snow this morning regardless.

    ehh I'm indifferent to snow of course if its cold I want it to snow but I won't be too upset if we miss this one. Looks like as usual we will be on the bubble. Still a decent ways out.

    minus say a lucky timing of cold and precip looks like any sustained winter is over. The teles are pretty bad now. I'm ready for spring and golf

    Look on the bright side this underperformed in a lot of places. Nobody really got anything than 10 inches

    Definitely easier to stomach whenever even places like Butler county are only getting like 1-3 inches of snow.

    Last summer started to piss me off. I love thunderstorms but for some reason they only wanted to show up on Wednesdays (golf league day).

    Trusting OP models outside of 5 days is a waste of time. I'd say wait and see what they look like by early next week. Some ensembles had a spike negative in NAO. I wouldn't count out another quick hitting storm. We can do pretty well when the short waves shorten. Slowly though any signs of a sustained cold pattern seem to be disappearing. If winter ended today I'd have to give it a C-. Pretty lackluster minus the period in January.

    Not a torch but it was a pretty lack luster month seeing as it rained basically anytime we received any significant precip.

    I think shift that 75 miles north and you have the solution. No block in place the warm air will race north.

    Time to channel my inner KPIT This storm is going North of us and the next storm looks like a Philly special. This winter sucks.
