So where I was up in Butler County just north of Mars we got hammered for like 30 minutes. We were standing on the 9th tee about to tee off and all of the sudden it dropped 20 degrees and the wind started gusting hard. We didn't finish the hole and waited in the cart barn until it blew over. There was a lot of lightning and our dumbasses figured that since the rain slowed down we should finish the hole. As I hit my 3rd shot 50 yards out on to the green a huge lightning bolt easily 100 yards in front of us. My butt puckered and I refused to go back out there for atleast 30 minutes.

Well reading NWS Facebook page and the weenies in the comments sound just like us. Why do storms always miss us... etc.

enhanced getting closer with each update. It's honestly worst case middle of the night and temps about to sore. As long as I don't lose power I won't be upset.

If somebody is yelling in a cops face and getting a crowd wound up the cop absolutely can arrest or detain that person for public disturbance. Of course there are grey areas.

I guess the NWS agrees. I almost went to Columbiana Ohio to golf today glad i didn't. They are getting crushed with rain but looks like we may get the severe storms instead of the prolonged rain.

Driving down 65 and it was like a white wall I ran into. Luckily it's March and it wasn't laying but it was coming down pretty hard.

I'll take an inch or two just to hear people freak out on social media. Meanwhile a few years ago we had a trace of snow in May if I remember correctly

wow that March sun just decimated that snow. You would never know we just got done with 10 inches over the weekend.

I think if Febuary would have been a little better than I could call this a B- maybe B winter. We wasted some cold air occasionally. However; overall not bad at all. Two warning level events, some smaller clippers especially the one during the day, surprise on wednesday, respectable squalls, some really cold temps, and a few weeks of a decent snow pack. Honestly I wish December would have been better too, but I'd call it a C+ if it ended today.

Yep most of Pittsburgh area received about 7 or 8. Great storm and an overperformer to boot.

About 7/7.5 here. I had a feeling this was gonna overperform after seeing some of the models started showing a little tongue of heavier snow into AGH County. One thing that is interesting is how there is only 2 or 3 of it on the roads/sidewalks. Shoveling and driving were a lot easier than expected.
