I don't understand you. Nothing OTHER THAN THE PANDEMIC is stopping people from going to support those businesses now. The fact of the matter is the vast majority of people are doing the safe thing for them and their loved ones and staying in as much as possible and avoiding crowds for obvious reasons. You want to save small businesses? I assume you have been calling the republican senate who has been obstructing a second needed relief act every day to lodge your frustration. Otherwise, what the **** are you going on about? Until a vaccine is here and widely available, it is going to be tough sledding for everyone.
Have booted the usual multi-family gathering for Thanksgiving, but will still host parent/in-law parent at the house - keeping the gathering to 7. BUT, we really want to have it on our patio outdoors - fingers crossed for the mid-50s midday highs for a week from Thursday with low chances of rain hold. That would be swell.
This is the well known "summer vestige" portion of NOVEMBER. We will also see this "summer vestige" at times in November/December, November/January/, November/February/, November/March, and November/April.
Remember this is the only the first month of our new season: NOVEMBER. We are in November/November. The season of NOVEMBER runs through November/April. We have six months of NOVEMBER ahead of us.
In all seriousness, very positive news. Good deal.
Also, went to Rehobeth on Saturday with my better half and the equally better dog to take advantage of the mid-May weather. it was...pretty damn nice.
Further also, the winter season I can finally think about chasing to see snow and it looks like the closest snow will be Calgary seems...about par for my course.
Heavy snow and that kind of cold just introduces uncertainty is all. If you are alive in a survivor league, there are other games that are not being played in a snowstorm...
I've been at my current job long enough to unlock the extra 5 days vacation perk. My youngest is in college. And I have a 2-year-old lab who loves the car and hikes. All of which means, given the dire chatter in the winter thread, I am mentally packed to chase snow this season. A bunch.
Rain really missed for the most part - everything that popped up ahead of main line managed to skip my parts of baltimore.
by time main batch gets here looks like the reds and yellows will be done and just a steady rain for a bit.
