GEFS --- not great - in line w/ GFS - area-wide 2" - 5" w/ snow hole concerns floating CMC ---a hit! area-wide 6+ inches with upwards to a foot some places but also genuine concern for our friends on the lowlands SE of 95 for mix or rain at the transfer. GEPS -- juiced up compared with 0Z - supports the OP UKIE ---- a decent hit but all front end - the junk in the trunk is reserved for NE - maybe 4-6 inches plus area wide EURO ---- mid and post coital cigs for most everyone. Massive storm unfolding. Euro holds. 1 to 2 feet or more across much of the forum. Need the low to not tuck as tight to the bay as depicted here to bring the CAPE crew into the full fun and chill out osfan24. Editor's Note - It doesn't make the scorecard - but the NAVGEM was a massive hit with plenty of backside PSU in main thread says, in reality, ICON and CMC much like the Euro in evolution - just with crappier thermals - and that you would lean more to Euro for thermals this far out. If so, it is EURO/CMC/ICON vs. GFS/ UKIE heading into the 0z runs tonight.

Mods have covered this elsewhere. He checks in from time to time. He was not run off nor did he leave because he felt unwelcome. He may be back at some point if he decides to post again.

I blame ralph for the GFS and Canadian. That was needless negativity from him.

Not you obviously . Not even Will. But when Ji gets to the point on these boards where he is affecting my mood with his shtik, he's gotta go. What's really disappointing is he knows better. A few years back he got the highest of compliments you can get around here when Wes noted that Ji has gotten to be really expert in reading and interpreting patterns, upper air maps, etc. He's one of the learned amateurs on here who could be so helpful. Instead, he just craps on everything in those threads. I don't get it anymore.

Current as of 1/26/21: BWI: 2.1" (Would be new 5th place if no more snow falls) DCA: 0.3" (3rd place worst if no more snow falls) IAD: 2.6" (currently tied for second worst if no more snow falls) The futility list:

12/16-17: 3.8" 1/26: .2" Season total 4.0"

This feels like a BWI and points south max - fingers crossed for you all. Hoping for something to fall in Balt City enough to enjoy walking the pup in later.

But also, why do you post here.

Not for nothing, but some snow on the ground and a relatively cold week would be nice heading into a weekend where another chance of snow is possible. Would be nice to have some cold in situ as much as possible for a change.
