  1. Changeover downtown to sleet. Maybe half an inch before changeover down this way?
  2. I have been here 11 years and still cannot manage to see an oriole in the wild (baseball player or bird). Do you put something in your lawn, on your trees, or in feeders to attract them? The birds that is. Not the players.
  3. Are you in Roland Park area for the day for work or other? If so, your measurements will be of interest to me since I can't take them as I will be downtown for work.
  4. Snow. instant sticking. Immediately one of the better events in my part of balt city this year, just based on quick start and instant impact. This season has been weird. Have to rely on other NW balt city folks if we accumulate, heading downtown for work now.
  5. (My sub-conscious, apparently, 48 hours ago) Hypothesis: Ice is hard Test: Fall down and see. Results: Confirmed, ice is hard. (Repeat as necessary to make sure)
  6. Yeah. Seriously. It crossed my mind on the third fall...
  7. We may have missed snow again this week in my zip code, but the .8 of sleet in my hood absolutely glaciated. To the point that I fell four, that's right FOUR times walking the pup this AM. Sore ribs and wrist but don't think I broke anything. That's six falls in two days, so...probably should stop falling. Absolutely dangerous as hell to this rapidly aging dude if you can't see bare pavement to step on. As frustrating as the overall winter has been in my part of the area, that's the third time this year we've been able to glaciate what has fallen and hold it for nice winter vistas for many days after the event. That's been nice.
  8. That contour through nw balt city showing me right on the no accumulation side of the cutoff looks absolutely perfect. King Nam.
  9. No, it shows that the portions of the board that live in and close-in to the cities has seen enough of marginal events in questionable air masses this season to wait and see if anything falls that is frozen before reacting at this point.
  10. It’s gorgeous out, dog loved it on our walk, but please take care, I fell twice and was extremely fortunate not to break my arm on the second fall. It is skating rink icy.
  11. It's just a few days out. Who's it hurting? I like to know when my next round of being attacked by a warm nose is coming.
  12. you need to find a second girlfriend. Look in Union Bridge area.
  13. sleet here. A few flakes mixing in.
  14. Low blow. The music ruled and his slagging of same was probably why they left him.
  15. They bringing matt Damon home again? How often is he gonna get left there?
  16. He hates these cans! All I have is this lamp.
  17. If you are not one, you can't know, though, right? Constant or near-constant double-entendres might not be as funny for everyone and might actually be hurtful to some. Being an adult means thinking beyond oneself, maybe? I don't see anyone telling you to never engage in "hey now" or "that's what she said" or "phrasing" jokes, but there's a line, and maybe its possible to not go over that line. I don't think that's an unreasonable ask.
  18. How valuable is her addition? Makes up for the four people I have put on ignore in the last 24 hours. So grateful @diatae has arrived.
  19. WHAT. A band? You are putting me in a BAND? I don't want to be in a band? What's going on here? (Motsco probably)
  20. 12/16-17: 3.8" 1/26: .2" 1/31 - 2/2: 5.1" (4 inches day 1, remainder over next two days of the event) 2/7 - T (pretty much a total bust) 2/10 - 2/11 --- 4.2" 2/18 --- .8" (sleet accumulation) Season total 14.1"
  21. <checks baltimore area> Looks good, you can take that one to the bank. Congrats.
  22. <goes to ignore list> More like MajoNO amirite?
