  1. This is starting to scream 1980 more and more. GFS is trending south the last 3 runs.
  2. At 120 there is incredible agreement with every model other then the 6z old euro about LP placement. Both GFS and the Euro AI and cmc are nearly dead locked in LP placement off the coast.
  3. Pretty much all the models tonight have a coastal-95 snowstorm. The icon being the outlier but if you blend what's out there so far everything is in relative agreement. Its nice to have a straight up MIller A and ultimately if the euro comes in similar it will be model agrement other then a few small changes to come.
  4. The talk of 1980 500mb charts are really similar to this setup. Just need a bombing low off GA https://www.weather.gov/mhx/Mar011980EventReview
  5. The euro is essentially pushing the block coming into the NE out of the way far more then all the other guidance and that's whats leading to a more inland track. All the other guidance has a stronger block and a more substantial snow for east of 95. The differences at 500 between the GFS/CMC and Euro are pretty significant. The Euro wants to phase much quicker then other guidance aswell.
  6. Sleet line is rocking north now into PG county at this rate it will be to rt 50 in the next 30 minutes if that.
  7. Hugging the UK CMC Icon combo is likely to lead to disappointment especially when the CMC made a huge jump south. The AI models have been headed south the last 6 runs including the Gfs and Euro. The cold air and high is too strong. Unless that disappears magically its no Bueno.
  8. The Euro AI has been adjusting south too.
  9. This has no end in sight for a south trend. Ai GFS has been non stop moving south.
  10. Euro is following the AI on the trend south and slower longer storm.
  11. The AI models are all trending south the last 4 runs. This is going to be a big test for them.
  12. Driving from home in NC Richmond definitely has a solid few inches but was turning to a more sleet mixed with snow when I left at 4:45. Most snow is by Fredericksburg and southern MD
  13. Just gigantic flakes Snapchat-1930143808.mp4
