  1. Sorry to disappoint... Lol ! I didn’t mean to drop the ball ! Good news for you & everyone else hoping for some outlandishly late snow! The 12z Canadian today has snow for southern PA next weekend, yes, May 9th! Hopefully more counties open up next week so we can have a snow chase to the land of @Cashtown_Coop or @MAG5035 or @Bubbler86 ! A solid period of well below normal temps appear to be on the way for next week. It might as well make a little history & snow On us! Nothing would shock me at this point with everything going on now!
  2. My final rain tally is ... a ton ! I only measure snow ...!
  3. Imagine this precip today in February with a 1040 High parked over southern Quebec! We would be buried in snow! Ok, time for me to wake up from my snow dream..!
  4. The 6z GFS & 12z GFS still are trying to bring snow to parts of CTP in May! Decent snow on the GFS for May 6th is only about 25 miles from my house. Lock it in! Most models also have well below normal temps for early to mid May. I am happy with delaying the heat & humidity as long as possible!
  5. The 12z Euro yesterday had what would be a historic snowstorm for CTP on May 6th. A few weeks ago @anotherman was hoping that we would see snow maps in May! @paweather would be on board with this, but @Voyager might be a little upset ! Since @MAG5035 didn’t post the good stuff yesterday, I will do the honors!
  6. Sadly, this event will most likely be the last time that I get to post snow maps for CTP until this Fall... The 18z NAM brings snow to a northern & Western areas of CTP this evening. Maybe our friend in Clearfield will get in on some snow tonight? Ok, maybe I’ll take a look at the 0z model run tonight too...
  7. The rain is starting to pick up here in Marysville. The radar looks juiced to our south & west and is moving slowly. I would have loved to see this current radar a month or two ago... Wellsboro & Binghamton reported snow at the last hour with temps in the low 30’s, which is very remarkable for today’s date! Maybe @pasnownut will get some snow at his northern tier place ?!
  8. The 0z NAM gets some snow on Sunday evening into mainly northern & western parts of CTP. It even shows a little snow getting into western parts of The LSV.
  9. Congrats! What do you think of the snow chances for CTP that the Euro has been advertising?
  10. Well you might get your wish if the 12z Euro delivers what it is advertising for Sunday night. This is remarkable to even see it on the Euro this late in the year. Also, this is only 4 to 5 days away and not some crazy day 15 forecast. This would be something to see!
  11. Where was this pattern from January to March? The 0z EPS has this look to end April!
  12. The 0z Euro Control run is on board too ! According to my calculations, this raises the chance to .00000000002 %
  13. LSV people do not need to worry ! The 0z Euro has a snow chance for most of CTP on the 30th ! This .00000000000001 % chance would certainly be historic for many of us. Lock it in ! Lol ...it would be a fitting way to end this miserable season !
  14. The 0z Euro has snow for northern & western CTP on Sunday night.
  15. The GFS has this for New England this weekend!
  16. Where was this pattern in February or March ? The Euro, GFS & Canadian all have more snow By the end of the month for parts of the Northeast, including northern CTP & the Laurels. It might be time for a road trip to the northern cabin lands of @pasnownut !
  17. Well, we are only 6 months away from the Euro Weeklies getting into Met Winter range !
  18. Almost....LOL! If the LSV had got into this storm, you would have been posting snow Obs & measurements all evening! We all would have been jealous of @Cashtown_Coop getting the LSV jackpot yet again!
  19. Congrats & thanks ! Even though I missed out on this event, I still enjoyed the late season tracking. We are now only a little over 6 months away from starting the next season of snow tracking!
  20. I’m very happy for the CTP snow winners with this event. It always stings a little bit when there is good snow not too far from your home, while your own yard gets cold rain. Like you said, this was close to being a CTP wide historic late season event if we had a slightly better track.
  21. Yes, good point, it could have been worse in normal times. It’s a shame that truckers, essential workers & people shopping for essentials could not get a better heads up for this event in the State College region. 7pm State College Ob is Heavy Snow with .25 mile visibility & No Advisory.
  22. Congrats! That’s great considering CTP didn’t bother to include your county in the Winter Weather Advisory!
