It would have been disappointing in Winter. We often don’t care as much about forecast disappointments outside of Winter. Snow is serious business...Lol !

You had to say the words “sleet line” ! The dreaded sleet line cost me a 40 or 50 inch snow season this year! At least the sleet keeps the snow around longer after a good snowstorm...

Thursday was impressive with all of the snow showers in the area. I got a few stray flurries, but missed out on the good stuff.

Most of the general public have no idea what normal temps or precip should be for a given month. Most just remember the major events but don’t recall the typical days. They think that the weather is just not like what it was back when they grew up. I try to remind people that many of the extremes have happened decades ago, and will likely happen once again some year.

I agree. Today was a little chilly at times, but overall a great day to be outdoors getting a few projects done in the yard!
