  1. Yes, and the NFL always tries to keep them relevant as long as possible. The refs always keep the Cowboys in the games as long as possible... it is terrible to witness it every year.
  2. Hopefully the Long range CFS is showing a blizzard on December the 5th!
  3. I am so sick & tired of Tom Brady....why doesn’t he just retire already!
  4. Lol...Sorry to hear that! I am really happy that you like snow, because we certainly will never agree on football!
  5. John Ritchie & Ricky Watters both are local players that had great NFL careers as well.
  6. It’s amazing how much coverage they get for being a team that has won nothing for 25 years! Every year the Cowboys have false hope that ends in more failure!
  7. Yes indeed! I wish that it would stay like today for the rest of Spring & all of Summer.
  8. I agree that we could use some rain, but I don’t think that it’s time to worry yet about drought conditions.
  9. Lol, We should probably start conserving water now!
  10. I just think it is hilarious when I see nothing but beautiful Spring colors wherever I go in Central PA. Reading through this thread makes me think that the next Dust Bowl is coming!
  11. Lol, I need photos from some of you that are seeing the dried up lawns! I have heard several of my family & friends say that this Spring has been one of the most green in memory. There are no signs of drought anywhere that I have seen.
  12. Hopefully we start to make up our precip deficit for the year around November 20th with heavy snow through New Year’s Eve. It would be a win-win scenario! We can finish the year with above normal precip to ease the drought concerns and then also get us on our way to an above normal snow season!
  13. Lol...Hopefully it’s a good heavy shower to save us from the pending drought!
  14. Everything looks very green to me everywhere around Central PA that I have been recently.
  15. February 2021 was also a very good snow month with almost 20 inches at MDT.
  16. February 2015 was also a good snow month. Most of our snow that Winter started in the last week of January, continued through February and lasted until the middle of March 2015.
  17. We need a live report from @losetoa6 and @paweather

Special Weather Statement Special Weather Statement National Weather Service State College PA 1049 AM EDT Sun May 9 2021 PAZ004>006-010-011-037-092200- Warren-McKean-Potter-Elk-Cameron-Tioga- 1049 AM EDT Sun May 9 2021 ...HIGHER ELEVATION WET SNOW THIS AFTERNOON... A steady, soaking rainfall is expected over much of the Commonwealth this afternoon and early evening. However, across the higher elevations of the northern tier, as temperatures drop for a time early this afternoon, a transition to wet snow is expected. The main time frame for wet snow is between about 2 and 7 pm. Minor accumulations are anticipated over colder, grassy surfaces, but paved surfaces should stay primarily wet. Thus, we don`t expect any impact on driving conditions. As temperatures slowly come upward late in the day and this evening, any wet snow is expected to change back to rain by 7 or 8 pm.
