  1. No storms just a bit of outflow here and high was 91.
  2. Man am I getting screwed here between yesterday and today. Ground is brown and parched.
  3. Man what a screw job here. Storms dropped down briefly to within a couple miles of here and than retreated back to the Pike.
  4. We're both a tad to far SW, if we get something it's probably as it's fizzling out. One hell of a light show especially here in the valley with the open fields.
  5. The ultimate tease here, hours of lightning and thunder and not a fookin drop.
  6. I was able to get into some action here. Decent brief gusts, brief heavy rain and a few loud bangs.
  7. I've been unable to get through to MetHerb from Stafford or Sugarloaf from Enfield.
  8. Mostly cloudy and 73.4 here in the ctrv. Refreshingly cool.
  9. The heat is definitely getting a bit old here in the DV. Electric bill was awful, and along with the the heat we are also dry so without consistent irrigation everything looks like dog crap.
  10. Just took a very nasty ride from Enfield through Longmeadow MA to my parents house on the border on the border with Springfield. Multiple detours , numerous trees and branches down, several trees hanging over wires, a couple wires on fire, debris falling on the car definitely adrenaline-pumping.
  11. Decent-sized limb fell fairly close to my truck. Meh'd my way to something halfway decent.
  12. Delayed but not denied here. Branches on my property and larger limbs are down right over the fence. Power has been off and on. Estimating a couple of gusts near 60.
  13. Not impressed here yet in the valley
  14. Still fairly bullish and so is crazy uncle but they have backed off some on the shrooms and caine.
  15. Ok. Nice. You're a bit further west than where we stay in Mount Vernon just west of Belgrade Lakes. Similar-looking topography perhaps your area is a bit more mountainous. Our lake is at about 400 ft with some 800-900 ft hills surrounding it.
  16. As for DIT He just does not accept mediocrity well and we're losing the damage threat and anomalous type effects from the system, although there could still be heavy band of rain that sets up, especially in Western New England.
  17. About 2" here and most of it earlier in the month. Things are getting brown again.
  18. In the past I believe we've had a general convection thread and and then highlighted a threat for a specific date when the situation warranted, which is somewhat subjective unless there are specific guidelines or parameters in place. In general when you highlight a day and its potential there is increased expectation. My thought is to have a general convection thread that covers more general non-severe convection or projections that are beyond 3 days, and perhaps have a specific date thread within the three days and/ or when SPC has placed us in the slight risk category. Just my two cents and I do appreciate Wiz's analysis.
  19. Nice line of storms through southern CT, RI, and SE MA. Could have used some of that rain here.
  20. Leveling off in the 92-93 range here Edit: just snuck up to 94
