Is there any cold air available for the most part? Lousy air mass no matter the track, no? Maybe a little on the back end, but we know how those work must of the time(last 20 minutes of the precip the cold/column cools enough, and then bang its over lol).

Radar isn’t all that impressive imo...lots a holes and spotty down to the SW..Another POS system for SNE.

Fair enough. But it doesn’t look to be a siggy Ice Storm for “A lot” of the area currently. Low level cold hangs on here(or advects in here) pretty well in these type of situations, but I’ll sell siggy ice here too. .1, .15 at most here if everything breaks right. NWS has very little to No ice for most areas outside of NW CT

It’s not gonna be a significant ice storm for many. Fake news and wishcasting again today..? You are not under an ice storm warning currently, and 85% of SNE isn’t either. The guidance today has backed off on the cold press, as is usually the case. So no ice storm for you, and most of SNE. N. Half of litchfield county and western 1/4 of Massachusetts is under the gun currently...and that’s a small area of SNE when taken in totality.

I’ve had(and many others as well) this same issue with him...but when I said/called him out for this exact thing..you guys said I was Obsessed and I was the problem??? Lol. Now I back off, and now you feel the same way. Hmm??

I wouldn’t hold my breath on any sustained blocking....that’s been like Voo-Doo since March of 18; but I’ll take some Well timed transient blocking to help us out when the systems roll through.

Go low on any siggy ice as of now imo. If future modeling ups the ante more, then it might be a more significant situation for us in CT. Many times these start to trend warmer before go time...at least the last one did.

Lmao...it’s probably gonna be a flop(Rain) for most in SNE. You and a few others In NE/NW SNE actually have probably one of the best chances currently of scoring a lot of frozen. The vast majority of us will probably just rain.
