  1. In the real sense of it, I agree. You’re not gonna be doing yard work or hanging outside on your patio, or eating outside at your favorite pub/restaurant. Ya you won’t flood with a half to 3/4 of an inch, but the sensible weather still sucks. If it was snow, and you’re talking 3-6”, vs 18-24”+, then sure that’s a huge difference in that regard. But this is rain, and wet is wet.
  2. Ya…you’ll probably stay dry. Not the case here.
  3. Not gonna make a huge difference unless it’s dry…and that GFS isn’t dry for CT.
  4. Shocker. When aren’t they above? That doesn’t bother me at all. I’ll take my chances. Last year was the worst, no way we beat(get worse)than last years rat here…no way.
  5. GFS is almost 4” here, Euro is about 2”…either way it’s a good soaker according to those two models.
  6. Ya that’s our Trump card this year…sub tropical jet can deliver the goods. Just need seasonable cold nothing brutal.
  7. Ya I think it’s coming with this one…the rain that is.
  8. Ya poor guy is just hoping for anything that shows lil to no rain…but as he likes to say, it ain’t happening James.
  9. That doesn’t seem to happen when it’s a rain event…now if this was December 21, you can bet it’d get sheared out and ground up like Hamburg, and NYC down into Jersey would get 18-24.
  10. Ya that’s still 1.25-1.50 hear on the meh NAM …I guess that’s meh now. And as you said it’s raw and damp…it sucks. He’s been very despondent lately…he’ll be a bear this rainy weekend with the kids all cooped up.
  11. Ya that’s gonna suck…no warm dews there, just damp raw autumnal rain.
  12. Agreed. I was hoping for dry too…but I don’t think it happens unfortunately.
  13. It’s coming for you….rain and sheet drizzle all weekend in Weymouth unfortunately.
  14. I think that’s ultimately where this is headed in the end unfortunately.
  15. Yup…there was a lil hope it might stay south, but that looks to be fading fast now.
  16. Thanks Don. I was being a bit sarcastic regarding all this supposed warm water. Not so warm after all. thanks for the charts.
  17. But but but…the waters are so anomalously warm in the Atlantic off New England, is all we hear lol…I guess not warm enough to support any tropical entity.
  18. Agreed. I think the wet idea for SNE is a pretty sure assumption …just how much rain is the question currently. I’m thinking an inch is a pretty sure bet for most of CT at the moment…And probably more.
