Ahhh I dont know. Almost Every single snow forecast would bust low. Sure there were a few big ones, but vast majority of systems were always ruined some how some way. I used to say to my family and friends…”SNE is the land of the sabotaged snow storm.” And this year we are back to exactly that here.

Lol…ya I’m not buying that at day 13. It’ll be gone next run. But if it’s not, oh well. NNE gonna rock the next few weeks, even if we can’t.

Modeling couldn’t get the snow right at 12 hrs out lol. The 80’s are back.

Some times, temps and snow are inversely related, that’s what has happened to you this January. Just goes to show ya don’t need it frigid to snow in NE. Above normal temp, and above normal snow for you. Nuances and timing is all ya need at peak climo.

This is exactly what it was like in the 80’s….whatever could go wrong would, and almost every time. So eerily familiar.

Heaviest snow of the season here now lol. Should last about another 10 minutes or so. Was nice to see while it lasted.

And that’s the perfect example of….No guarantees at all as everybody knows(or should know).

But there are changes and differences being shown now, that weren’t present up to this point before…sometimes the colors can be a lil deceiving if that’s all you see…that was more my point.

Well you guys know Seymour…he’s a worrier. Any light oranges in the east and blues out west, and it’s curtains in his eyes..that’s all he sees. lol.

I think he means as we go forward…obviously. At least it looks snowy, better then it not looking snowy. But we all know it’s just modeled and not real, until it happens for real.

The funny thing is it has gone terribly wrong for them there many times, while we had HECS after HECS in SNE. So they’ve been skunked plenty too over the last decade.

It’ll be up there after this Thursday’s burying. They got 20-24” a week and a half ago, a few inches in between since, no real melting(just compaction),and then this 12-18” coming. So probably be close to 40”. It’ll be nice.

You’ve been in the crosshairs of late. Good for you. Nothing here…tough being left out. You’ll be able to ride from home if this pounds you guys. We were gonna leave tomorrow morning for St Agatha, but decided to push it out to Friday morning, to better take advantage of the big dump up In Aroostook of 12-18”. We should have superb conditions Friday-Tuesday. Looking forward to it.

I’d say that about all the models lately. Euro blows too, can’t trust that pos beyond 2 or 3 days either. But day 12…c’mon? You should know that isn’t reasonable to expect things to hold from 12 days out…no matter what it shows-good or bad.
