Lots of really angry folks here. It’s not a final solution. The GFS had the thing crushed till now. It’s correcting. Chill and watch modeling as it unfolds. Obviously, the GFS is not leading the way as qgsmegma tried to tell everyone, so let it adjust. -
It’s not the final solution..but going the Euro direction is the take away.

I’m not thinking that’s a region wide warning event for NW CT on that map. It was for central areas. And that sucked for most…except east, and Eastern Mass. I Hate that POS storm.

When you come right down to it, The bottom line is: it’s always a thread the needle, if You want a bigger event. It’s Such an over used term. You gotta have all the ingredients come together, just right, and It’s gotta go in the exact right location to give any one area the goods. Imo, that’s always a thread the needle.

It’s not the final solution…so it was a positive run for SNE…it’s gonna morph some more. But it’s heading in the better direction. I think that’s the takeaway.

Can’t toss or ride any one solution right now. It’s still morphing and trying to sort out the pieces. GFS, ICON, CMC all just possibilities at this stage. This could look totally different by Friday and Saturday as we’ve seen happen countless times. At least we tracking something.

We have a 2hr delay…it’s a beautiful thing. When it really snows or ice..no school. So the best of all worlds with regards to any type of adverse weather. But I too feel for the commuters …that’s no fun at all. So I can understand their plight.

Imo rain to snow is always better. Unless it changes over 10 minutes before it ends obviously.

Lol..yesterday the sentiment was that it’s gonna trend north, north for CNE, and leave SNE mostly out. Comical how the modeling many times goes in the opposite direction of the current thinking. All of a sudden it’s now south. This is Still morphing, nothing figured out yet. Changes to come still.

Oh they’ve come back , and have been here for the 3rd season now. However, the big dog did happen even in the 80’s, ya just never know when it walks in. Obviously this threat isn’t it, but we have a good chunk of winter left to go, how it plays out is still an unknown. But for now we nickle and dime.

What did you get a couple weeks ago? I got close to 8” here…which was pretty decent(solid warning accumulation).
