Right….? It’s unreal. Always a shortwave or a scooter shit streak when ya don’t need it this year. When ya want it, nowhere to be found. I’m just blown away by the amount of times it has gone wrong …and all in a row. It’s gotta snap at some point. So I expect a horrid spring.

We just can’t catch a break whatsoever…amazing. A true Rat to the core. I mean what are the odds of flipping the coin 12 times, and getting the bad side every single dam time? It’s mind boggling.

I’ll believe it when I see it. And it’s a week out. Lots can change by then. I’ll be headed to northern Maine next Friday anyway, so it won’t matter Friday for me.

April ‘82….was a fabulous spring blizzard!! Buried here with Waist deep snow after mild/warm temps the days prior. It’s in my top 4. But I’d rather have a good first few weeks of March, and then mild up and move on.

It’s Feb 9th…she’s gonna play more games for another 5-6 weeks with us here. Down in the jungle where you are…you have another few weeks too of ghost storms on the modeling. See you at 12z.

Started as rain…rained for a while too. And look how much CT got. Incredible. My area was close to 50” it was said.

Yup for us snow weenies..we have these storms that touch us embedded in our memories. Funny, just had a colleague text me and ask if I remembered Feb’13, cuz they couldn’t remember it. I laughed and said I remember everything about it. So I described/told them about the storm, and they were like holy shit…lol.

For me my top 4 here would probably be Feb ‘13, Feb ‘78, Jan ‘11, Feb ‘06. April ‘82 was insane though too. And Jan ‘96 was actually really good here too.

How the Fook can the 2011 blizzard have a higher rating than Feb 2013? However I killed it in both those(33” in ‘13), and (26 or so in ‘11).

It’s the excitement of damage that some crave…thats all. Folks love damage, and ice creates damage…major damage if you get over half to 3/4 of an inch.

Warm up even fails lol…I’m good with it though. Warm ups in early to mid Feb isn't what I prefer.

Actually I believe the saying goes…Denial IS a River in Egypt. It’s been mild obviously, but the days haven’t been to warm or nice overall. It’s sucked actually.

Let em enjoy a couple warm days here and there…it won’t last. I’ll enjoy them too…but ya, we all would rather it be snowing at the snowiest time of the year.

Yup, I’d agree. But these southern systems many times do correct north, and we do have a favorably placed high. Probably still not enough to get it done, but it’s worth a glance here and there. I agreed with your post yesterday, that you’d think we’d run into at least one system this winter at some point. It’s hard to dodge every possible winter potential in SNE all winter long. But if there’s a season that could do it…we’re in it. I’m still at 4.3” on the season…laughable.
