  1. Good…keep it there at this point. But I think it’s getting lost.
  2. I don’t remember any ice storm in ‘12? In 11-12 there was the Octobomb, and then 6-7” in mid January here, and that was it. 17-18” total for that Rat season. Only to be beat out here by last year at 12”. This year 25” to date..doubled last years shit show. But still only 50% of average.,
  3. Lol so you are born in 03… 94 broke a snow record. And 96 broke 94! Then it went bad again. Then the early 2000’s it started to go good again. Then 2010 absolutely obliterated the mid Atlantic, and snubbed us here. Then ‘11 killed it here. Then ‘12 was a complete Rat. Then ‘13 was great. And ‘14 too. Then ‘15 went bonkers again…especially east, but wasn’t chopped liver here in the west either. 18 was good and 21 was good too. So we take the good with the bad. It’ll rebound again for sure.
  4. Well then I apologize…sometimes it’s hard to read sarcasm in a post sometimes.
  5. Yes…keep it if it ain’t something substantial. Just washed the truck…so keep it if it ain’t gonna be a good event. Nobody needs it now.
  6. Yes…And so do I in the late 70’s..trenching snow tunnels and snow forts galore…then the 80’s came, and there was nothing! 1-2 and 2-4 was common place all the time. When a 4-8” storm happened we were elated. And 5-10 was a complete Joy. And a foot…what was that for at least a dozen years? Then the early to mid 90’s happened and we broke snow records. Then it went bad again in the late 90’s. Cycles cycles cycles!
  7. I will assure you Ant…it WILL GO BACK! Cyclical patterns…remember the 80’s? I do(lived through it growing up….you might be too young ) Very little snow for the most part for years on end. 2-4 and 3-6 was a big storm for more than a decade. And That’s why I blocked Allsnow..and so glad I did. So expect a weenie soon…from a guy who lives 150-200 miles south of most of interior SNE.
  8. Being you’re a newbie….in ‘06 he killed it. ‘10 he killed it!!! And in ‘11 he did too. In ‘16 he did it again…. So before you say that, he’s beaten a lot of the area multiple times. Now we in SNE beat him out more often on an annual basis obviously…but he’s beaten many areas much further north in the last 20 years, in many storms than you’d expect. Check yourself brah!
  9. This will trend north some more..then the south ticks will start to happen..you know the see-saw effect that we always see. However, The attenuation we’ve seen overnight is the theme of the season…so that isn’t surprising, because that happens almost every single time. Maybe the CMC will prevail with the stronger consolidation?
  10. It’s WAYYY overated now though. The last couple years have shown us/proved that. And that’s what is always said…it would be a cutter or a FROPA if we didn’t have it. As Ray said…then that’s fine let it be a Cutter. And I agree. We get these pretty oranges up in the Davis straight/Greenland…And they do nothing for SNE. Still a ways out on this obviously…so maybe as we close in, that block can sit on this some more? But if it doesn’t…take the NAO, and shove it up over the pole into Russia for all I care going forward.
  11. There’s progged to be a very potent -NAO, if it can press this south some for once, we’d have a shot. But this NAO BS is proving to be worthless the last two years. I think we can add it to More of the fraud 5’s.
  12. It’s gonna jump around…it was only a slight shift. Watch the ensembles.
  13. I didn’t mean it that way…what I meant was we need the NAO to press now…that would help alot of us. It hasn’t been much help when we’ve seen it the past two years…let it help us now.
  14. Yup. The -NAO hasn’t done Jack for us the last two seasons….maybe this one time it can do it’s dirty work, and bring this bitch home this go around.
  15. If that pig -NAO gives us some help it’ll be a whole New England threat. We’ll see how this evolves over the weekend. But the big players are there..can we have them dance is the question?
