  1. A week after you left there wasn’t really a big snow…1-4” of wet snow on night of 1/24(Friday night), into morning of 1/25. It was the 27th that started the barrage.
  2. They’re better for the Mid Atlantic most times. Feb 06 was a huge storm for NYC and Here in CT too(2 feet+)…I wanna say that was an A..?? But I’m not sure.
  3. Now we’re making threads for months that don’t start for more than two weeks? This place is going down the tubes.
  4. We’re in a good spot for both types here. ‘78 was a miller B. ‘13 was a B. ‘96 was an A. The late bloomers can leave us a little light..but we’ve had plenty of really good B’s.
  5. Well you’re gonna be waiting whether you like it or not pal. Being we’ve had some snow here, it doesn’t sting quite as much.
  6. Jan 2015 didn’t really get going until the night of the 24th into the 25th(1-4” wet snow event)…so it took its time.
  7. Two types of Nor’easters…Miller A’s which come out of the Gulf of Mexico or deep SE coast, and ride all the way up. and B’s that redevelop off the coast of the mid Atlantic. This one would have been a B.
  8. Yes sir..another over performer. 2.5” this morning.(Girlfriend says 3” when she went to work at 6:45..but I’ll stay with the 2.5” lol). 5.5” on the month/season…not to shabby so far.
  9. It’s a weather forum Brett, and things did improve from where they were yesterday. So try and tolerate the discussion about the “weather.”
  10. Huge positive bust last Feb. positive bust 10 days ago, positive bust today too…I’m liking the Tenor.
  11. Yes, I’ll be around that too. If we can manage to grab a couple more(?), we are looking at normal snow for December.
  12. We take what we can get…winter has given us at least something so far this December. Certainly a snowy/wintry morning. The 2nd one this December…Not complaining at all.
  13. Well we certainly have the time for it to continue…but as you said, will it? Heh, at least we’ve seen some legit improvements over night.
  14. Heavy Snow, 29 degrees, ground completely covered, looks like an inch or two. Wasn’t expecting to see that. Nice surprise. School delayed.
  15. You already had your 8”….boot this pig outta here, for the one that can give us all a hit. If you could only control that right.
  16. Yes, It did, but You’re a rare one for that though. Big huge sub zone of a couple hundred miles in between the NYC/NJ Jack. The Bigger point was, it was a lost cause for a long while, right up until it wasn’t. NWS even said to disregard the GFS run when it suddenly shifted it back west out of the blue, to hit, and said It was a spurious run due to convective feedback issues. Some crazy shit that was.
