  1. I like that idea…but I’d even take major and run too .
  2. Ya…that’s a rare bird indeed. Had about 34” here in ‘13, my sister about 5-6 miles south me had 36”, and about 10 miles south of her had 40”. Most I’ve ever seen in one storm in my 56 years.
  3. Yes, so I’d agree up there…but we were 6-10” above that here.
  4. I’d disagree here. Just down the road had 40”..so imo it was biblical here.
  5. Historic is above major any time…goes without saying.
  6. I’d say 2013 was Biblical here…an all timer. A little less(not by much though) wind here than 78, bud more snow. It was a beast.
  7. Well I think that’s what most of us wanted to see start showing…details obviously to be determined as always..but we’ll take our chances with active any time.
  8. That’s two weeks out Ant….really not worth much saying what that shows on 12/27.
  9. No, you certainly can’t. Now we need it to bear some good fruit.
  10. Again, all here realize that if it doesn’t produce anything, it’s all a waste. But I think we’d all rather have this look the way it does, than not. Everybody is aware that this doesn’t guarantee a thing. But I’m thankful , as are others, that we can at least discuss the potential, and hope as Will said that we can get something to develop, and not go frigid and dry. But it is always a possibility, that we all are aware of.
  11. That was more because that was a mid Atlantic monster. I had about 10-11 inches from that Jan 16 storm, and I was on the extreme northern fringe of the heavy stuff. Once north of here, it was like the amounts fell off the cliff. South of here they went up like a rocket.
  12. They’ve whiffed a lot in the big ones over the last 15-20 years. They’ve been too far NW for most of them. That’s why SE areas did so well during that time period. 06 was great here..a two footer.
  13. Feb 10? That was the historic Mid Atlantic snowmaggon year. Suppression depression for everybody north of NYC. You sure it was Feb of 2010?
  14. Ya, I didn’t know exactly where he was in Mass? Thought he was from interior SE Mass. Out in the Berks…ya they’ve been getting boned.
  15. How bout Feb of 13? How bout January of 15? How bout March of 18? How bout January of 22? All of those had 30 inches plus in places. Feb of 13 had about 33-34” here.
  16. This isn’t true either(for most of us). Most of us aren’t unreasonable. Gotta see how things play out. It’s that Simple.
  17. It’s a shit argument…kind of like saying the first two days of January might be above normal, so January is above normal. But knock yourself out. This isn’t last year.
  18. Just curious, What are the traditionally snowy areas that are BN?
  19. That’s how this game is played though…you/we all know this going in. So many nuances with getting snow, that a good/great pattern can’t tell or show us at med/extended ranges. So you just gotta wait..or take a break and check in in 4-5 days.
  20. I have to agree with you on that. We all know there are no iron clad guarantees with any of this. But it isn’t last year, and I don’t feel it will be going forward from here now either. That’s my take.
  21. I’m no MET…but that looks pretty dam good to me overall. I’ll roll the dice with that.
  22. You could be correct Luke, and nothing wrong with saying what you are saying. But You are also the guy who told us after the 12/5 system gave us 3-8 inches across the state, that we’d have to wait for after the new year(2025) to see anymore snow. And yet we saw three more snow events. They weren’t big..but they added another 4” plus to my total..to bring us to normal for December. So you were incorrect on this month back in the beginning after the 12/5 snow. You could be wrong about this too.
