  1. Have to remember too…ya don’t need a fabulous pattern to get some good storms/snow during good climo Brett. I think alot of us/folks sometimes forget his.
  2. Yes to both. But even then(1/10)…Things sometimes don’t get going until after that. But it will be more concerning for sure. Not saying this is 2015, but that season had a blast furnace Xmas, with zilch until Friday, 1/24 when we had a wet snow 1-4” on a Friday night, and then the 0z euro brought back from the dead the blizzard for that Monday, 1/27, and then it was off to the races. So many times, it just takes an excruciatingly long while to get going. But I think we all expected this here in December.
  3. Ya…I’m not agreeing with that. 14-15 was horrible til the end of January. Way too early to tell that. Elnino’s are notorious for bad Decembers. So I very much disagree.
  4. Looking better for northern Aroostook county Maine..Winter storm watch up, a net gain enroute after all. That’s a win for us sledders.
  5. No surprise there. NAM always amps up, then goes back to reality at go time….just like clockwork.
  6. Actually I’ll have to disagree with you on a couple parts….I knew something would happen to negate the winds, because that’s what always happens with these, except very rarely. I explained that in the December thread. And no, we don’t live in a damaging wind area for the vast part. Sure damaging winds can and do happen on rare occasions(severe, tropical, the rare screamer, the rare tornado), but buy and large it’s not a damaging wind region.
  7. Good to see you’ve Finally come to your senses…as we tried to tell you yesterday and prior my friend. Wind fails much more often than not here. We just don’t live in a damaging wind area…unless tropical systems visit. Enjoy the big rains.
  8. Agreed. Lol. Unless, this keeps jumping east?
  9. I guess I should have said high end tropical storm winds, not 35 -40 mph, those are nothing. Especially with no leaves. If I’m wrong, I’ll gladly admit this was a surprise. Hoping Kevin is right…all inflatable’s blown into Maine.
  10. I’ll still take the way under here on winds…unless it’s a tropical system, 99% of the time its a snoozer here in that regard. NAM would be interesting here with a couple inches of snow, but I’ll sell that too. We’ll get 3 plus inches of rain, that’s what I’m pretty sure of though. Congrats who gets the snow, and the wind out east.
  11. Him and Allsnow…they won’t like a post that shows two winter storms in the long range, but they’ll like, and comment on a grinch or a big warm extended every single time….that’s the true tell tale sing of a troll, and an agenda. Ya, we know it’s the extended(way out there), and we can’t even figure out Monday yet, so we know odds are extremely low out that far, of anything that is shown today on modeling to be correct. But it goes both ways when you’re talking about 16 days out.
  12. Gonna have to do that I think.
  13. It’s posts like this that are the fuel for the nonsense. Absolutely a ridiculous post. You’ve heard it from Will, Scott and a bunch of others in the know, that early December is usually not very conducive for snow in SNE. Yet you continue to throw out complete BS troll posts. It’s crap like that makes this place hard to stomach. If it was mid January, then I’d agree with you that we’re wasting days/time. However, now we are certainly not. Please, at least have the decency to know what you’re talking about. And that troll Allsnow who likes every single dumb thing you say..he’s another piece of work. What a pair you two are.
  14. Nothing against Brett personally, it’s just that he’s been overachieving there for a decade…yet he thinks he’s been in a snow hole for a decade. The guy is misled. Like with that post…he says there’s been a lot of those looks of late, and Scott comes in and corrects him and says…no, it’s pretty rare. Lol. Ya got Forky posting 384 hr ensemble maps, and pimping the warmth..??? I mean does it get any more obvious that these folks are just jabbing and trolling for real…. Sad. We can’t trust 6-7 day ensembles, but we’re gonna throw out 16 day ones, and troll folks. pathetic. Let em go…who cares what these trolls think from Jersey and NYC.
  15. Ya for the cape and SE Mass, and coastal Maine….CT is pretty much out of any real fun imo as far as winds go….go east my friend.
  16. Lol…off hour OP run at 16 days lead time, nuff said. But hey if it makes yuz feel better, by all means lock it in.
  17. Lol…I wasn’t talking about George. I agreed with what Ginxy said. If folks don’t agree, that’s cool too. Whatever.
  18. That’s what I figured…but wasn’t sure. Thanks for the clarification. And I still agree lol.
  19. Luke, you and I agree on very little. And that’s all well and good. I agree with what Steve said…because it makes sense to me. Perhaps he has the data you’re seeking? I don’t know if he does. But I still agree with what he said.
