Topped off at 81 today with a dew point of 69. Storms are rolling thru right now and temp has dropped to 73 so far in the last 30 minutes.

Picked up a meager .17" this morning. Been cloudy all day. Currently 57/51.

Had about a 5 minute light rain event this morning but nothing else. Currently 74/66.

Low of 32. Currently 56/41.

Low of 31 this morning. Been a bit since we had been below freezing. Currently 47/29. Just checked and Jan 29 was the last time we went below freezing.

Total rain for this event was only 1.69". Currently 57/35.

.09" so far today. Windy, and the sun just popped out. Currently 71/65.

It certainly was last year for us. We had a whopping 0.5" which was our total for the year!

Went out and mowed my lawn on this nice spring day in February, currently 76/61.

That is exactly what I am thinking. My area will be lucky to see low's in the 20's again. This is looking like it may be the first winter in some time that I don't see temps fall below 25 much less 20.

Had to mow my backyard today. Thanks winter. Thought I could have at least 3 to 4 months off from that!

Of course it will disappear next run. Way to far out to even get a hint of excitement.

Yes it did. Hit 80 at my house and across much of southeastern NC and eastern SC.

After a bit of OT today, I will get 15 solid days of vacation. Then after that it will be only 26 days until I retire. Woohooooooo.

FedEx ground sucks. I usually try not to use them but I ordered a bunch of stuff from Wallyworld and it promised a Saturday delivery. I waited as long as I could and figured they would just drop it off at the door like UPS and USPS does. At 4:30 I had to leave for about an hour and of course a short while later they showed up and then left without leaving the packages. Why they don't give a time at least within a few hours when they will deliver is beyond me. They gave me a 12 hour window. I will do my best to never use them again if I can help it. They are worse than the cable guy. Now I have to wait until Monday and hope they get here before I leave for work. Now I got a notice that they will deliver Monday by 8 PM. The holding site is over an hour away so going there is a no go.

And gives my area 3". Yep very legit for middle of November!

My wife's friend in Poncha Springs, Co picked up 3" overnight.
