    We went from 5-8 to 1-3 to less than 1 and now back up to 1-3. Hopefully the gains continue.

    Wow, we have gone from 5-8 down to less than 1" in New Bern. Highs and lows have moderate too. Hope it changes tomorrow. Not looking good.

    Yesterday we had 32 for a low and 54 for a high with .09". Low this morning of 44, one of our warmest lows this year. Picked up .22".

    Wasn't the 1899 one even heavier and colder? Nevermind, I just looked it up. It wasn't much snow but the extreme cold that it was known for.

    I would but I am afraid that would jinx it. Right now the forecast is for 5-8 inches for New Bern.

    I like the Euro better as it puts the storm farther off the coast and gives just about everyone a good dumping.

    Low of 22, high of 46. I am just amazed at how many mornings we have been in the low 20's so far.

    We had everything last night. Went from sleet to freezing rain back to sleet to plain old rain back to sleet and snow and back to rain. Temp during all this went from 31 to 39 after midnight, back down to 31, back up to 35, and finally down to 32 where it was when I woke up. Ended up with approximately .60" in the bucket.

    Had some heavier sleet come down and dropped our temp from 37 to 34. Very light precip coming down now, hard to tell it it is snow or rain. No lights close by to help.

    Same here. Low of 20. It's 11:30 and 34/15 and breezy. Very cold day with the wind. High was 39.
