  1. the stretch in July 2024 was one of the worst - 4 straight days of 101F+, which was a record. We'll see how this one stacks up.
  2. we hit it six times back in 2024, with the hottest being 104. That was the first time since 2016 I believe. We hit 100 a couple weeks back as well.
  3. honestly with the dry soil and the right wind direction, we can sneak one in if we are in the upper 90s by 1pm. It happened a couple weeks back
  4. There have been huge gaps in terms of weather balloon coverage - basically the entire mountain west lacked coverage for the 12z runs today. This is obviously impacting model forecasts at this point.
  5. was picking up my daughter from camp on the bus and we missed it by about 10 min thankfully. DCA hit 95F before this started coming through, so another 95F+ day in the books.
  6. finally a storm that is blowing up right over the city
  7. lol we are gonna be more than halfway through our avg 90-deg days before the end of June.
  8. Another 90F at DCA today.
  9. same here. Everything is crunchy.
  10. feels like the Nats take it personally if the opponent scores in the preceding half-inning. They were winning 2-1 against KC. KC puts up two in the top of the 5th to make it 2-3. Then the Nats put up 5 runs immediately in the bottom half of the inning lol. this team is something
  11. they certainly are gems in this part of the world
  12. it's like 15-20F cooler today than yesterday with full sunshine, in mid June. Sure.
  13. another day at 95+ for DC.
  14. having the top guys from the 2016/2018 national champion 'Nova teams was a brilliant GM move. Brunson is definitely one of my favorite players.
  15. Brunson is a killer man. Dude is on Kobe or Jordan's level in terms of that.
  16. High of 90F at DCA, 12th of the year thus far.
  17. damn - the USA is looking good.
  18. holy shit DCA hit 100F.
  19. yeah I was just in Austin - humid as hell.
