  6. Got an 80F dewpoint right before the brief shower, and afterwards I was at 83/81 for a bit. You could definitely cut the air with a knife.

  10. mid 70s dews now - welcome to July in DC.
  11. i picked up my kids from their daycare in West End (downtown DC) and they had clearly gotten a torrential downpour! That's like 4 miles away!
  12. literally the storms hit Western Ave and split or disappear or go some other direction. It's like we live on the one big hill in DC and they are like, "nope".

  23. Seems to be improving substantially over the past 30-45 min. Viz at DCA is up to 8 miles.
  24. just walked back to the Metro from a work dinner downtown (around 730), and it was really bad. Put my mask on.
  25. I lived in Santiago Chile for a winter (when the AQ is just horrific) - and I do recall that when it rained, the air was much clearer for a while afterwards.
