  1. Started snowing as soon as the kids opened the first present. Merry Christmas to all weenies big and small!
  2. Bretton Woods is enveloped in this ice crystal cloud - I imagine from snowmaking - it’s bizarre but very scenic. Everything is glistening in the headlights
  3. It’s a whole lot better than last year I’ll tell you that!
  4. Yes, keeps us busy for sure. school is a bit weird - today is their last day, seems late!
  5. Same with us. We have a few of the 90 homes we manage still available for Xmas then we are sold out till New Years
  6. Nice big fluffy flakes falling. How are things in Stowe? Headed there tonight
  7. Yeah makes sense. Had some flurries, now sunny. It just looked so ominous! Merry Christmas!
  8. What is going on outside lol? It seems like we are about to get a thunderstorm. Sky is black
  9. Yes it was definitely a bizarre storm. Very hit or miss. But yes it just keeps going. Still light snow falling tonight
  10. An interesting observation as we binge watch Christmas shows with the kids and look at the snow in the lights. The snow they show on tv always looks like upslope
  11. Bizarre. I stay out of the fray and try to avoid high school level exchanges but you definitely don’t strike me as a problem poster
  12. Snow not letting up (light stuff). Added another inch
  13. I haven’t added anything in a couple of weeks though. I keep the totals on my phone and then upload them occasionally
  14. 3.5” at my casa. Dianes ruler is broken lol. Still an underperformer
  15. Amazing how nicely Bretton Woods skied today considering the last 2 weeks of weather. Snowmaking and great grooming can do wonders
  16. Amazing weather I have a very dumb question. I was playing with the maps in those links and looked at my location. I always assumed that upslope is generated from mountains to my northwest and looking at this map… there’s really nothing to my northwest. Are those little things capable of giving enough lift, or is the lift coming from the wind hitting the mountains just to my south/southeast?
