  1. This was the first time I've spent anything more than a few hours in BTV - really, really liked it. But I think I've already said it lol
  2. Took this yesterday in Burlington. Notice how green some of those trees still are! I was a bit surprised by the difference here, but I guess the lake also creates a significant microclimate
  3. Lol. No thanks! we actually go to Littleton Eye Care, great place but they refer to either BTV or Montreal for lasik. My dentist is in Gorham though and I can also highly recommend them!
  4. I’m in BTV for a few days (hubby getting LASIK). So much foliage still left here! Burlington is a great little city
  5. Very similar here. Lots of damage from the 1-2 mph wind - millions of leaves on the ground all over the woods
  6. I think I've been in the clouds more time when I lived at 200' in the Winchester Highlands than at 1600' here lol. Topography plays a huge role. Happened all the time when I was at Linderhof - had a house perched up on the hill above Storyland on the Bartlett /Jackson line. It just doesn't happen here in this giant bowl.
  7. NWS says accumulation will be 2500ft up. So maybe some wet slop here?
  8. Down to 29 already. Looks like those first flakes are definitely a possibility
  9. We couldn't radiate... It was cloudy until this morning
  10. As much as I've enjoyed the warm weather, it's nice to start seeing the forecasts "evolve" and mention snow
  11. Ready, set, go… Just testing of course, but a sign of things to come. Saw some glimpses of snow at the higher elevations but the cloud deck is very low. Would have been a nice ipslope event with about 0.5” LE but we don’t need it yet
  12. @wxeyeNH my webcam URL is in my profile, https://video.nest.com/live/vO4cJkQlWY Sorry, Gene, just saw that message now!
  13. And while it's not white, we are getting some nasty upslope rain today. 0.35" of misery so far. Upslope rain does not hold the same appeal as upslope snow.
  14. What a contrast. Dark gloomy and cold at home. Bright sunshine (though still nippy) in Conway
  15. This stuff is moving slowly. Spent most of the afternoon/evening in St J (aka St Johnsbury, NEK, not far from my house) and it’s been raining there for several hours. Got to my house and it’s pouring now, but hasn’t been raining for very long. 0.81 for the day (but 0.57 of that was early this morning)
  16. Agree. And while not "needed", I ran it yesterday to dry up the house. I hate humidity and it was getting rather sticky. A few minutes and it's way more comfortable. I have central air with heat pumps, it's incredibly efficient, don't need to install/uninstall, and it works very well for heating down into the mid teens. Highly recommend no matter where you live
  17. Ah! You should get mini splits. American Air in Conway
  18. I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you find a way to get out and enjoy! Would having a gondola help?
  19. Some cool clouds around the peaks today
  20. I’d say it’s past peak at this point for us (it’s more of a muted orange than the vibrant colors it was till a few days ago) but still pretty. And now walking in the woods is pretty too lol
