  1. You sure? No way it's 7 degrees warmer than where I am, lol
  2. I'd count last month as one time (good trend on top of good trend inside 36 hours). But before that? Jan 2016...lol
  3. These kind of gradients are always funny to me since I live just south of Towson. I have to squint to see if I'm in the cheese or the blueberry
  4. Now that would be absolutely hilarious. In that scenario both my baby and PSU's would do some kind of DBZ fusion dance to gives us a hit
  5. Now hang on...Did the lingering piece of energy that sliding off to our south this weekend influence this somehow? You see it kinda spinning there in the Atlantic midweek before going northward...
  6. Alright that is hilarious! How half of DC gonna be colder than Baltimore? That run hurts me feelings
  7. Dang it...still something to watch. Although if that scenario were to play out you can believe I'll sound my "no snow the last.8 days of Feb" horn just once
  8. Doing a modified fast from this site, but just got the notice...hey, hey! Awesome Adivsory turning into warnings at very short leads...to quote Chill, a personality trait of this winter, lol
  9. Gave proof through the night That your storm is still there SNOW! say does that winter storm Still trend on the models For the land of the freeze And the home of weenies!
  10. I'm happy to be getting what it looks like we'll get Friday/Saturday, but I can't help but be a bit sad seeing a big piece of what could be the last stj wave with cold near by that we'll see for a couple years...sliding by to the south, shunted by a front that won't even last long! But again, at least we get a nice piece off the top of it
  11. Thought about that a little while ago...I believe we finally broke that during our first wintry week (I THINK...we ended the week with 9.1 inches so at least one of those must've been over 5). Listen, given what we could facing next winter (and the next if the next will double dip like ninas LOVE to do), and the overall uncertainty in our climo, I may not be as picky now. Gonna enjoy the moderate--although I'll still hope for the big one one day
  12. Well this one certainly could've been one had the waves timed up better and phased more, right?
  13. Judging by that spelling it sounds like ya started early
  14. Don't worry they'll get their super la nina beach blizzard next year...
  15. Would this be the first strong Niño that wasn't a complete ratter but wasn't great either? All the ones the last 44 years or so have been either one or the other...except for 1992 I believe...and while that was a moderate, of course that was after Pinatubo...
  16. Y'all don't think that...it may have been the volcano? I mean I know some kinda laughed that off, but now I'm starting to wonder. I mean we'd never had that much water vapor, right? So we didn't know the effects...but because it looks so weird, now I'm wondering!
  17. Why tag me? I told ya I'm probably not giving next winter the time of day, lol
  18. Wow! Ya know, while I usually don't care for funny-colored pianos...that there sounds like it was awesome! But yeah man right now, I've got Gershwin comin' out of my ears--a theater group I've been playing for is having a fundraiser concert the first weekend in March, and it's "Gershwin & Friends" (the "friends bejng a few others from that era like Baltimore's own Eubie Blake! I appreciate Gershwin even more now! (As "Fascinating Rhythms" plays in my head, lol)
