Yeah seriously! Like I said earlier--even a few inches would make for a white Christmas given how frickin' cold it's looking to be afterward! So while of course I'd love more, this is one instance I'm gonna TRY not to be picky given how rare it would be. Closest snow to Christmas we've had to track in years, lol
But the fact that only one of those worked for us (2009) shows ya how difficult it can still be. Not the best history, lol Another reason to keep expectations tempered...
Even if we were to just get a piece of the 12z GFS solution...anything that falls would easily stick around for Christmas with those frigid temperatures! We shall see...
And THIS is where the hobby can be it's most mentally treacherous. Like, logically, you know...you KNOW we got a long way to go, and so much can change. But emotionally...the temptation, lol
I'm telling ya there is an addictive quality to this hobby that has us lookin' at this when we ain't got no business doin' so, lolol Probably everybody on this board has done this!
Around the TN valley would be nice Now, apologies if I asked before, but...the Commutagedon storm (late Jan 2011)...we went from rain to snow (in fact that's the last time I remember that order happening, lol). How did that work again?
