Pretty cool it was 6 degrees Monday and Tuesday and we've had like an inch of rain Wednesday night into Thursday.
I feel like I live in Washington, DC.

Can’t wait to talk about winter again. UGH.
Might have to wait until February unless cold and dry gets you talkin'.

The river here is impressively ice-covered. I'll try to get some photos today if I can get out when it's not pouring.

CTP isn't impressed much at all with any frozen precip the next few days. <.1" ice tomorrow morning and a slight chance of snow showers Thursday, calling for mostly rain.
Talking about the LSV.

Maybe some rain changing to snow midweek.
Then cold/dry or cutters, warm and wet looks like pattern next couple weeks.
.Unless that massive ridge out west moves nothing big will be on the horizon. Like you said, a swap between cold/dry and wet/warm repeatedly. Kinda depressing we're blowing the best climo period here but it is what it is. I'm sure March will get us a massive storm per usual.

11 was MDT’s low, 7 degrees above forecast.

The Walnut St Bridge n Harrisburg always washed away on this date. So says PennLive.

6 here for the low - the wind was howling all damn night.

Was out with dog and the whole neighborhood sounds like a bowl of Rice Krispies. All the ice is snap, crackel, and popping...lol
Ha! Same here when cars head down our unplowed alley and aren’t in the tire lanes that are bare pavement.

Down to 20. Dropping like a rock once the sun went down.

Looks like rain or ice to rain for a lot of us.
The storm at the end of the month looks that it could be BIG.
Yea 1010mb h sitting south of New Orleans looks enticing doesn’t it?

The runoff from some of the melting is going to be a problem later.
True, side roads will be slick for sure. The sn and wind is definitely helping dry a bit.

Just went on a drive around Harrisburg, Camp Hill, out to Wegmans, etc. Roads are all plowed and clear so refreeze down here shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Trees have no snow thanks to the rain.
-
Had to have had more than half an inch of plain rain overnight, quite a lot of my snow has melted into a soup.
-
It’s pouring rain. Sucks.
